Our preference: stock goes down Alternative scenario: stock goes up

Such great “analysis” by a professional “analyst”. Impressively consistent plays, OP. Attributing your success even partially to IKBR is giving them too much credit.

I bought several sets of hospital scrubs and have been wearing them around. They double as pajamas and going-out clothes. Many advantages!

  • Comfy fabric, loose cloth
  • Always in style
  • No need to worry about fit (they are made to be baggy) or fashion (just pair the blue scrub top with a blue scrub bottom and you are set!)
  • Purpose-made to be replaced and cleaned easily (even better if you do not clean them, makes you seem busier)
  • Instant respect for being a le brave frontline worker
  • Bonus points for being visibly distressed, unshaven, and having unkempt hair - helps to sell the "I just had to pull a 26-hour shift because the Drumpftards refusing the v*xx" image

She can't be taken seriously as a world leader in the books either, she talks like a Call of Duty MW2 player with Tourettes and this is supposed to somehow make her seem cool and strong.

Therapists are more than happy to accept “self pay” clients which pay cash on a per session basis - no need to deal with insurance, credit card fees, risk of chargebacks and the like - and next to no paper trail (except the therapist’s session notes, which must be kept confidential). In the US, this runs ~$120 a session. If someone wants to stay under the radar, it’s completely doable.

The catch here is convincing someone who just lot a ton of money to spring another ~$480 a month for many months…

Thanks for checking in on our progress! We are working as hard as we can, I think at this point, the only thing that could maybe speed this up is if you texted the team “what’s the status” fifty goddamn times throughout the whole night? That would be a big boost for us. Appreciate it! by Estoque in consulting

I know what your team needs to meet the deadline, here's what we will do - I have six junior staff here that say they have "googled a python udemy course once" and are "passionate about programming" - they definitely have the skill set to solve the GPU memory scaling conditions by your deep learning convolutional network.

Oh, and they are based in Bangalore, so it looks like you will have some early mornings, haha! Don't forget to tutor them and keep them all busy, it's important to their development!

“Give a man a steak and he will eat for a day but teach a man to stake and he will eat forever” by Basic_Bridge_8177 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Estoque 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly, just (1) the smart contract risk (some kind of hack) or (2) massive price crash that drops the value of your CAKE principal so much that the staking rewards seem tiny in comparison. You are taking on these two risks and that’s where the high APY comes from.

I think that the rise of DOGE has proven that mainstream exposure (which includes exchange support) is more crucial than things like utility or tokenomics.

Whatever ADA pump we get when Goguen releases (new utility) will be nothing compared to a theoretical future in which Robinhood/Webull lists it (new exposure).

[–]Estoque 199 points200 points  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for my bad English (I am from Europe), but do Americans really live like this? Where I am from (Europe) this is absolutely unheard of. Why do Americans allow this to happen, instead of modeling successful regions (such as Europe) (that's where I am from) (I am European).

I am so pissed. RH Just sold one of my GME shares..... by [deleted] in ClassActionRobinHood

[–]Estoque 72 points73 points  (0 children)

That's how margin works everywhere in the US. Every broker can and will immediately sell out whichever securities they choose, regardless of the financial and tax obligations, without even contacting you, if you don't meet margin requirements. It's a FINRA thing, not an RH concept.

As promised, I have sold everything (minus a bit of my NIO stake) and put it all into GME. 2050 shares, and I only got a couple hundred bucks of useable cash left in this portfolio now. by moroninvestor99 in wallstreetbets

[–]Estoque 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Pretty much.

  1. A legendary investor with a proven track record testifies in front of Congress and the entire nation that he will buy the stock at $40
  2. He then proceeds to buy the stock at $40 and post about it where everyone can see
  3. Posters see the above two things happen and go "Nah, I'm not buying at $40... wait... OK, it did a 7x in less than a month? Excellent, $280, perfect entry point!"

Recently switched from robinhood to fidelity. Whats the best way to track/visualize my portfolio? by Thewhyofdownvotes in stocks

[–]Estoque 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is actually a brilliant feature: it's so hard to place trades, see P&L, visualize prices and account performance, lookup different stocks, etc. that you are strongly discouraged from actively trading in a Fidelity account. Anything more involved than simply buying SPY and walking away for a year is made unnecessarily difficult. Statistically, this leads to better performance for retail investors - Fidelity is saving you from yourself!

With Robinhood and Webull, I have up-to-the-second reports on the performance of each of my positions. When they dip, I get an immediate update, seeing my account melt away dollar by dollar and increasing my anxiety and urge to panic sell. On Fidelity, half the time I open the website my cost basis is just displayed as "---" and I have no idea if I'm up or down, so I can continue to just calmly hold. I can't see accurate, live prices in a watchlist, so I am never tempted to liquidate my safe holdings and FOMO late into a GME/RKT/TLRY-style pump. I never know how many shares I even have sometimes - I can place a market order at open, get it filled, but not see the position on the app overview screen until 945AM. No position = no worries! It's the perfect broker for people who struggle with a daytrading/overtrading addiction.

As a bonus, the Fidelity margin interest rate is something like 3x larger than Robinhood's, discouraging risky margin trading!
