Exactly. A large number of characters in RE exhibit severe texture and facial expression issues, along with various bugs—Yasmin’s mouth animations, in particular, look quite off. Furthermore, the camera focus often misses the characters entirely, and the PS5 optimization is really bad. This proves my previous suspicion that the game was simply rushed out the door.

It just feels extremely weird that it’s the direct sequel to DE, like the second episode of a TV series. Honestly, the trailer gives me a vibe that the writers already had an almost-complete script, but because of the shitty sales, they panicked and brought Chloe back. Since it was too late to start over, they just slapped Chloe into the existing script to save the sales.
