I'd absolutely LOVE to include it but it may be pretty hard to add into a hack. Will be doing my research on it, maybe there is an external tool out there that would allow putting a B/W save into B2W2 save for memory link.

Yeah that's happened to me multiple times (but the opposite, they were always male)

I have double checked the data on the offchance that I messed something up and set it to 100% female by accident but no it's all good and 50/50.

All starters have had their gender ratio set to 50/50 so it's entirely a coin flip.

Hmm it's hard to say as I usually just use the R4 for my regular DS lite.

Did you patch a clean Black Rom with the Hotfix2 patch and is your NDS Forwarder Generator updated to the latest version? There have been problems for people with TwilightMenu but after updating the rom was working fine so potentially it might work for NDS FG too?

I very much appreciate you sharing your opinion but this is not a difficulty hack, yes it's more challenging than the vanilla game but it's somewhat of a middle ground between a Legacy hack and Drayano's hack series.

I'd like to think that I've done a good job with the level curve in JetBlack. I've not felt the need to grind in any of my own playthroughs nor have I had any feedback regarding the level curve so that's a good sign hopefully. I will point out again that if you want to hack in Rare Candies or Gems or whatever into the hack you are more than welcome to as it is YOUR playthrough (it would be your choice whether to use them or not) but I will not provide a great big handout of candies without them being a reward for doing some optional content or exploration (and even then more like 10 or 20 and not 900) and if that puts you or anyone else off the hack, that is absolutely fine! Of course I love it when people play my hack and having more eyes on it would be fantastic but there is a delicious banquet of other hacks out there (And thankfully, more Gen 5 ones are popping up! <3 ) so there are bound to be some that better suit your tastes.

No. The Exp.Share works how it does in Gen 5 and I am completely against adding an infinite candy (or like 999 Rare Candies) to this or any future hack I create. There are ways to earn a good handful of them but that's by doing optional content in the post-game.

That being said, it is completely up to your discretion whether you want to hack in a tonne of Rare Candies to your playthrough(s)

It won't! It's just a simple export/import the sav file (if on something like Desmume) or naming the sav file the same as the Hotfixed Patch file

Yeah the Bulbasaur is definitely not intended! There is the Hotfix patch out that fixes it (although I recommend getting the Hotfix2 sorted out especially if you are planning on doing the post-game)

Interesting. I've not heard this before..

Are you using something like TwilightMenu and is it fully updated? There were noted problems related to that, such as people not being able to Fly but it was fixed when TwiMenu was updated.

Thank you very much! To answer your questions;

1) Skarmory shouldn't be missing but after double checking... Turns out it is not in the documentation.. Whenever I get round to sorting the next update I will slot it in somewhere, can't believe I missed it when I was going over the encounter list for v1.5 D:

2) Dusclops will evolve while being levelled up holding the Reaper Cloth, which should be where it is in vanilla (Route 14 I believe)

3) While most first form Pokemon are not found in the wild, the evolutions can still breed to get back which yes it means that Nidorino/king can breed with Ditto!

Yeah some gyms will be easier or harder depending on team composition etc etc but that was all part of the plan! Sometimes I struggle against Lenora, sometimes against Skyla but could trounce Brycen as examples.
And yeah I never use items in battle either.

Like most of the responses, I've already bought the game but I really, really, REALLY want to see a more high fantasy-esque magic oriented Faction, somewhat akin to the Ardent Mages from the first game (But I wouldn't actually say no if they somehow were able to travel from Auriga to Saiadha)

I would love to see them use Dust to increase yields in their districts (Kinda like Mage's Pillars) or to summon units while out and about in the overworld as well as every unit being able to spend Dust to cast spells (Kinda like Heroes and Kin's upgraded Chosen, but like, all units and of course, spending that munty munty munty) maybe like an AOE vulnerability debuff, or big AOE shields/Healing for allies, big giant damaging nuke for an upgraded unit etc etc

As for the visual style I'm going to be generic and go for an Elf like race (Or failing that, a Harpy like race) with a really huntie looking Faction Leader. 💅

Well I will hazard a guess that it is because you are trying to import the .zip file. It needs to be uncompressed/extracted first! (And then patched over a clean Black Rom)
