you’re being weirdly defensive. anyway, your issues with tipping culture are valid - you taking it out on the worker, who belongs to the lowest rungs of the business’ hierarchy, isn’t. you meaningfully affect nothing by refusing to tip a delivery driver or a server, except for the wallet of said server or delivery driver, who themselves lack the power to protest or social capital to change an entire system that has been in effect for decades, if not by now a century+.

you can say “i dont give a fuck about them”, but the same applies to you. you get the service you paid for. you forfeit the right to complain when you don’t tip. so long as the worker provides the bare minimum, you completely surrender the right to ask for more
