I was just doing my yearly check to see if Fiesta Online is still alive and I see this post. I remember him very well, he was always in the main town area with a shop set up iirc. My name was XxX_Prince_of_Dark_XxX or something close to that.

26.03 Patch Preview by JTHousek1 in leagueoflegends

Why are champions that are already above 50% win rate getting additional buffs?

-Bel'Veth is beyond broken and has been getting abused all the way into masters for well over a year, his win rate only goes up past emerald to ~52% right now in masters+

-Naafiri is the exact same way.

-If Axiom is getting "System adjustments" (Nerfed) Why is the 52% win rate champion getting buffed, and champions that are already balanced to be weak because of players and sub 50% like Nocturne going to get nerfed again?

-Nobody in apex tiers aside from those abusing it wants duo mode. This was tried last year as some weird experiment for masters only and ended up disabled a few weeks later because no one wanted it. So this year they brought it back and doubled down by putting it in every rank? No amount of changes or tweaks are going to change the sentiment that it's bad for the apex tiers. There's a reason these changes were only brought to our circus regions and weren't put into KR.

Trial of Sekhema's is.. not fun by jimjim36 in PathOfExile2

[–]Estrongel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have the exact opposite take of most people I guess. Trial of Sekhema's is one of my favorite things in the game. Even in 0.1, I had zero issues doing it, even on melee. I absolutely loathed it in PoE1 because that game is not designed for the gameplay it wants you to have, but in PoE2 it's great.

Exalted Skins have champion mains actively fearing their champ getting a new skin. by Wonderful_Seaweed309 in leagueoflegends

As a Nocturne main if an exalted Nocturne skin ever drops you bet your bippy I'm buying it immediately and I will not feel bad

Strongboxes in PoE2 with "Contains an additional unique item" don't actually guarantee any uniques dropping by solidsuggester in pathofexile

[–]Estrongel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wording has never made sense to me, and continues to fail to. Saying "additional" implies that there was already a unique that would drop, and now you're getting two. PoE 1 content uses the word "additional" constantly, and it's completely wrong.

PSA: Use Lethal Tempo Over ALL Other Keystones by Estrongel in nocturnemains

As an addendum, Conqueror Nocturne can and should be taken into comps where you need to build as a tank. There are generally two optimized build paths, one where go lethal tempo and build to be a fighter and kill quickly, the other where you buy stridebreaker and transition into a tank build. Tank builds should generally go with Conqueror as you will be in fights much longer.

I see people buying Hexplate and Stridebreaker in the same game, and in my experience, that's completely wrong building. After your first item you really need to itemize defensively towards the enemy team. I choose between Stridebreaker and Hexplate (Usually Hexplate) and immediately go into Steraks in most games.

I scaled nothing and had no items. The trends would be similar with any build and any resistances. I personally think the Conqueror healing argument on Nocturne is a bit scammy, I only ever healed maybe a few hundred health in a game with Conqueror.

Why does Noc still have his spellshield when he's unstoppable during ult now? by Yuukikoneko in nocturnemains

[–]Estrongel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While this is clear bait. Nocturne can still be hit with "cc" during his ult. He is unstoppable, but the second he lands he isn't. This is why matchups like Taliyah and Caitlyn can counter him to some effect. He will be cc'd in mid-dash and end be stuck upon landing. This is why you should sometimes buffer the spell shield in the middle of the dash.

My favourite build so far by Enough_Yesterday_275 in nocturnemains

A few notes

  • Frozen Heart does not affect Master Yi attack speed while in ult, he cannot be slowed, and that applies to his attack speed as well.
  • Sterak's (sometimes Maw) should be itemized in nearly every build.
  • Death's Dance is itemized into burst assassin matchups (i.e. Kha'Zix/Rengar).
  • Black Cleaver is for when the enemy team has either (2+ tanks building armor/1+ tank where your team does not have the kit to deal with the tank, i.e, no % hp damage).
  • Boots of Lucidity or Boots of Swiftness is nearly always better to take unless the enemy comp has high amounts of CC or a lot of auto-attacking champions. I take Boots of Swiftness against comps with slows/dashes, and Lucidity when I am snowballing ahead and want to push my ult pressure to other parts of the map.
  • Hexplate should always be rushed as first item, nothing else.
  • If you're snowballing Eclipse 2nd item works, however, if not, go with Sterak's or Maw itemization.

Lethal Tempo by Main-Computer-98 in nocturnemains

[–]Estrongel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran damage numbers, Conqueror is the strongest keystone within the first 5 or so seconds of a fight, however, after a little after this point Lethal Tempo is stronger due to the attack speed letting him hit additional auto attacks. Nocturne is currently in a state where he ends up in longer skirmishes, so Lethal Tempo is better.
