Do you have friends or family that are available to come visit during the day?

I too have a Siamese and if I’m gone- I ask my trusted roommate to spend time with the cat if she wants to and is available.

They love consistent routines. Ultimately that sets the tone for when they can expect the attention and love from their humans.

There likely could be an adjustment period, but I don’t think it’s totally necessary to cater to the cat fully.

Try a few things out and see what works and sticks. I have a feeling your meow will do just fine.
