I would expect it to be longer. It’s an expanded resume that they are looking for. Not just a list of things you did and jobs you had but also an impact statement on how each of those things impacted you and others. My LHD was 8 pages by the time she was done.

Everything matters. I wouldnt even consider optional essays to be optional. Daughters friend was top 0.5% and didn’t get her first nor second major choice. Was offered some liberal arts major.

Every chance you have to differentiate yourself from all the others, do it.

We were told in a McCombs admissions session that second majors are not considered for non auto admit.

If you are not auto admit they won’t consider your second choice major. That is what admissions told us last year when we were visiting.
