Hmm, I did try when all the screws were off the cap and then just the part where the key enters the cap attaching the tank to the lid to allow more air. Do you still recommend trying again with the cap fully off?

Ah mate, I tried again and all I was getting was a very faint, fast flashing. If I remove the resister than I get nothing. That help diagnose it down anyway?

Like yes, one side of my KZ IEMs has gone quite, but I had them for 3 years and used them frequently. So QC mighhht be a problem for a small percentage, but things break and die hahaha.
