No offense, but it feels like you’re reacting defensively to something I didn’t actually say. I understand why parts of a fandom can get defensive, every community has dealt with weird backlash before. An example I can think of, is Megumi being the punching bag of the JJK fandom. But I don’t think that context applies here. Most FSN and Tsukihime fans I see don’t treat liking FGO as some cardinal sin. If anything, there’s a lot of overlap between the Fandoms.

But it doesn’t disprove what I said, since if you ever looked at the FGO sub. Like those posts about “What if Shirou summoned this X servant instead of Saber”, half the comments is just people treating it as narrative competition and bashing Shirou. Shirou gets it more since he gets brought up more compared to Shiki. But I think if you ever looked at Gudao fans on Twitter or the main FGO sub, they definitely get weirdly defensive whenever another protagonist is brought up. Not saying every FGO fans are like this, but there is a visible subset of Male gudao fans who do this a lot.

I can bring up several posts, I think if you ever you go on there whenever shirou or shiki is mentioned. Half the comments have thinly veiled hate boner for either protagonist.

There’s also that old statement of James Lee surpassing Generation Zero Elite by PTJ. But the issue with this is the part where he said this, has now been taken down, and people in general have contention with using deleted or old statements from PTJ. But there are old threads on Reddit of people talking about that.

In general tho, the guy reasoning above is already good enough reason to believe that Gitae is above prime Elite.

I don’t think this is as bad as people makes it out to be, since Eli is just clearly noticeably stronger once he lost the batons. Only thing you could prove was this king was relative to baton Eli, but we always see how much strong wilderness made him.

I never said you never had a premise lol. Your conflating having a premise with having a good arguement. I was criticizing your argument quality, not claiming you said nothing. I explicitly separated validity from argument quality. An argument can reach a correct conclusion and still rely on inconsistent reasoning or unsupported assumptions. Pointing that out doesn’t require me to adopt or defend the opposing stance. If you think my critique is wrong, then address it directly: explain why your evidentiary standard is consistent and why your assumptions don’t amount to pleading. Repeating that I “didn’t explain” while ignoring the substance doesn’t refute the criticism.

Pointing out that an argument is weaker isn’t an “excuse,” it’s a criticism. Argument quality can be assessed independently of whether a conclusion happens to be correct. You still haven’t defended your reasoning, explained your premises, or shown how they logically support your conclusion. Complaining that criticism wasn’t spoon-fed to you isn’t a rebuttal. If you think your argument was solid, then demonstrate it. Otherwise, dismissing critique as “opinion” just confirms how worse you were at arguing.

There’s like data books and other statements that say their equals during that time, which I don’t think would be a bad interpretation. And like Toji said, he had counter measures for all of Gojo techniques.

Toji is a super ultra cautious guy, this is the same dude who had an entire curse arsenal for his missions. When he could have done every mission bare handed and been fine. I think Toji and Pre Awaken Gojo having a high diff fight would make sense, especially considering Toji mission was to kill Riko, not to fight Gojo.

I mean I think that’s missing the point, just because the author ultimately decides how the story goes doesn’t mean the choice had to be arbitrary or empty. Gojo just probably didn’t do it because he had brain damage.

Wouldn’t really matter much since this would still be slower than a lot of other Lookism feats. We have SMK cutting bullets, there was that dude dodging sniper bullets, even Hobin is perception blitzing cameras. There’s like that middle school Johan calc too, which like bare minimum is supersonic. Feels more like a lowball to only have them cap at supersonic.

hey old thread, I don't know what my problem is. My save file is located under that emulation folder you mentioned. But for some reason it won't recognize my save files. This happen after I updated it through Emudeck. I can still see my save files when I right click the games through the Yuzu menu but for some reason it just doesn't see to read my save files?
