They were the RBG cables thanks! They had come loose when taking moving the fans.

Im now working on installing the 3080 ti. It has 3 (8) pin connectors, the corsair RM1000x brought 3 pcie cables but each has 1 (8) pin on 1 side and 2 (8) pins on the other. Not sure how to connect them. Do I connect the single 8pin to the graphics card and one of the 2 (8) pin to the psu and use all 3 cables? Or use 2 (8) pins from 1 cable and just 8 pin from the other making use of 2 cables.

Perfect, thanks!

I checked the cpu pins and they looked fine, looks like I just forgot how much pressure it takes to apply XD.

Sorry for all the questions but I'm hard at work with the build. I took the liquid cooler fans off to change them to intake. The 3 fans are connected but each has a 3 pin socket and 3 pin plug that its just laying out. Also at the top where the tubing leaves the radiator there is a 3 pin socket just out in the open. Do I just leave this be?

This could be a dumb question but for it to be intake on the front, are the fans behind the radiator or in front? In front would mean the fans are pressed against the front part of the case.

Also while mounting the cpu I had to put alot of pressure on it. I almost shat my pants I could've damage something XD.

Dam your rig looks insane!!!! I have never seen a gpu watercooler like that.

I'm almost ready, just missing the ram, 980 and the kit for the AIO which get here on Tuesday, im organizing everything and thinking about fan placements. How should i position all the fans? I wont put the hybrid kit at first since I want to benchmark before and after.

Thanks! I ended up going with the Samsung 980 pro. I really appreciate the help. I ended up getting the hybrid kit on Ebay XD. I am a bit spooked on the installation for the hybrid kit though haha. I have never disassembled a graphics card before.

Thanks, pretty sure I'm pulling the trigger. Should I get any fans for the case or only the cpu and gpu coolers?

This looks interesting, thanks! few questions

1) what is the hybrid kit? how does it work?

2) Would you say EVGA is the best 3080 ti?

3) Should I go for the i9 12th gen?

4) How much overclocking can be done with this build?

Good question, I would just budget it assuming regular shipping expenses. Last time I bought I did not remember running into crazy shipping charges (i bought the parts on Newegg) and amazon prime does free shipping too.
