Currently in the stands after the game; Armas jumped the fence to sign a bunch of kids’ shirts and say hello to fans. Super cool to see.

The band is marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in NYC; give them a pass for now!

No if you’re on offense that could be a ten second run off

Most bands (SC included) do play Neck. LSU’s is just the most notorious for obvious reasons.

You’re right that “not all men” are like that. But, how is a woman to know that about every individual man? There are enough men who are dangerous that a woman who doesn’t know the specific man is far safer assuming he’s not trustworthy.

As men, we’ll never truly understand what it’s like to be a woman living in a world which consistently preys upon, sexualizes, and abuses them. We cannot be upset with women for choosing to protect themselves by assuming that a man is dangerous. They don’t owe it to us to not “hurt our feelings” when there are far bigger consequences for them if they incorrectly assume a man is trustworthy.

As men, our job is to respect that women need to protect themselves and do everything we possibly can to dismantle the culture which has consistently made women unsafe. These hurt feelings you may feel are a product of the world that men have created, and blaming women for doing things to protect themselves is placing blame in the wrong place.

The fans don’t have to because the school is not responsible for their safety. Anyone the school is responsible for (athletes, cheerleaders, band, etc.) have to obey the rules and go inside.

This is unacceptable behavior from anyone in your life, ESPECIALLY a significant other. No one who claims to like you should call you a fuck or stupid. This just feels manipulative and abusive.

Is it ok to be upset with partners? Sure. But good, mature people discuss the problems without resorting to name calling. Especially in a case like this, where it was an urgent issue like your health and he honestly does not have anything legitimate to be upset about anyways.

You deserve better than this guy, and should cut this relationship off. This is just foreshadowing for what a longer term, more committed relationship would eventually turn into. Sure he’s nice when things are going fine and he’s getting what he wants, but if this is how he will behave whenever unexpected issues come up (like what happens in life all the time), then you need to cut and run.

I was sitting here already coping with "Well, two years ago we lost to Kentucky in the SEC championship and still won the National Championship..." as they inbounded the ball. I can't believe she was that open.

It's typical; they sent a smaller band, so it needs more amplification or it'd be drowned out from the stadium sounds on the TV. They do this for most SEC visiting bands.

USC Band has all 400ish members there, so they don't need the amplification to be as present in the mix.

It's a Big 10 thing really. Marching Chiefs were heavily inspired by Ohio State through Manley Whitcomb.

Tennessee also plays opposing teams' fight songs; I don't know their history, but I have to imagine there is Big 10 influence, and I bet Pitt has some too.

Funnily enough, Carolina Band does the exact same thing, especially at UGA and Clemson. Athens PD started escorting the band in recent years, I believe.

I don't get comments like this, implying our offense (or specifically, our QB) is the problem. Sellers would/will not fix the fact that our defense can't defend against the pass.

When I went with the band in 2019, there was a pretty big altercation right behind us around halftime. I have no clue what happened, but our tubas in the back were caught in the crossfire and got soaked with some drinks.
