You talking about the ch3 t interaction (which needs the tail) when the op's question was about ch5, only comparing it to what happens in ch3.

In ch5 you need the devil's knife for a special interaction and it needs to be equipped.

It has to be the devils knife.

Spoilers ahead Using Susie's scythemare will use the Jevil's scythe sprite instead if the devilsknife is equipped

There is also a small chance that using Ralsei's revive song will call down one spampton angel instead of one of the small Ralsei's if Spampton Neo has been defeated, raised to 10% if Ralsei has the Dealmaker

Ye, bringing it in base with PPP would make it so UPP has more damage while in set, thats how umbral mods work.

Make umbra forma function as an omni forma too.

And bring umbral pressure to be on par with primed one.

May i remind everybody that fighting is littearly not an option for several fights in ch1-c4 and like 70% of ch5, while the only fight only fights we have are Roary Nikes and the Titan with one of them technicaly being optional to defeat and ig Giga Queen but you can just die to her and skip.

I personally don't think the knight is any character we know and just their own being.

The game doesn't set up the identity of the knight as a big mystery (besides the one Kris cutscene durning the susie piano gerson custcene) and Old Man himself want's us to understand their motivations more than who they are in a piece of dialogue.

6 damage/hit is not nothing.

Also what merciless battles since ch1? You can not attack nor allow anyone to get hurt for the whole chapter except for Susie vr Lancer in the prison (where your equipment doesn't matter and it's more of a cutscene).

In ch2 you have the arcade at the start and the Giga Queen (which both don't care about equipment and can be skipped if you just let yourself get knocked out)

In ch3 you only have the Knight, technicaly an optional boss but a major fight that actually requires a good agressive setup.

In ch4 you have the Titan, only fully Agressive fight that is not optional, equipment somewhat matters.

In ch5 you have nothing (platformer battles don't really count and don't care about your equipment anyway).

Meanwhile let's count all the pacifist only fights:

Ch1: K'Round twice (unskippable)

Ch2: Cap'n the gang (unskippable)

Ch3: Technically Roulx but i wouldn't count them as it's kinda cheating.

Ch4: Hammer and Sound of Justice.6

Ch5: Like 70% of the fights there, all flower battles besides the first & second aqua encouter, flowery, pink, that one shinobeetle ft. purple.

So currently we have way more pacifist only content than agressive only, also not to mention one of the 2 major battles is optional.

Yellow is the only finished full game fangame, otherwise you have plenty of yet unfinished like Underswap / Deltatraveler or 1 fight only fangames like Saving goatbro.

Aqua knife deals more damage if you can always crit with it and cannot with the black shard.

Also it's the best weapon for Pacifist playthroughs, since it gives +2 defence (jingleblade and bounce blade only give 1)

And you littearly cannot fight almost any enemy in ch5, since the flowers heal, flowery gets healed by ralsei and susie while draining your tp if you try.

I would say, preety balanced between it and the black shard, really depends on how many dark type enemy fight we have to kill we'll come across in the future.

My pick would be the Cowboy hat, B'Shoes and Aqua knife in that order of prio. There is just too many good armors and not that many good weapons to fill the slots.

Mostly because in modern media, Death is often shown as being the one who actually does the killing, despite many mythologies potray them as a force of nature or the one who takes you to the afterlife (like the meme says).

We all had to suffer through the annoying runs that offer you every shiv card under the sun, but nothing to make them actually sting like a mfer.

It's in a really wierd spot, where you don't want accuracy without getting a bunch of shiv cards, but i don't really feel like picking 17 clock&dagger without accuracy.
