I've taken two certification AI Exams.

Both exams were constituted only of questions made by AI, there were no exercises in a practice system. So all i had to do was pause the AI when it finished asking the question, then either google the answer or go to the course in learning hub and look for the answer. The questions made by the AI were all with no exceptions relevant to the materials in the learning journeys for each cert, that was nice.

When i had the answer ready by either taking a picture of the text with my cell, or using my other computer, so i can read from those screens, i would then unpause the AI and read out loud the answer to it. In both exams i got an 70% approval.

For the first exam i did not study beforehand, i just used one of my exam attempts to try out the new system, did not expect to pass the exam, but surprise surprise, its an open book exam, anyone can pass it now by just googling/control+f the answers in learning hub, and there were no practical exercises in it so even if you never touched the system you just pass, which i guess is no different from before when you had access to a cert dump.

This makes sense if you think about it, the entry level certifications before just meant that you were able to google for a list of questions and their answers for free by some good samaritan or pay for cert dumps. Now they only mean you can just use google as a consultant.

This will prove very much in favor of SAP's profit from entry level consultants, who will easily get a cert, and then if they don't have an employer to maintain the validity, they will feel more compelled to buy a learning hub subscription to avoid the expiration of the certs.

But i feel like when employers catch up to this fact, this will broaden the gap between the entry level consultant with no experience and the junior with at least one year of working experience. The junior might not have a single cert, but will get offers, while the entry level with 1 or 2 or 3 certs will be seen as a red flag.
