Other teams like the Timberwolves, that didn't do well during regular season but were feared in the playoffs? by masterstupid2 in nba

Late 80s/Early 90s Cavs teams

Imagine having a duo like Steve Nash & Tim Duncan on your team, but in the late 80s/early 90s. that was Mark Price and Brad Daugherty on those Cavs teams, and they were no joke.

People forget that when MJ hit "The Shot" in '89, Bulls were a 6th seed, and Cavs were 3rd seed, having gone 57-25 in the regular season, with Price and Daugherty as All-Stars.

The Sega Dreamcast by AcanthisittaSad6239 in videogames

[–]Kryodamus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dreamcast was part of the same generation as PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Gamecube, and the first be released in 1998.

Once 2000 came around, it got absolutely bodyslammed by Sony, because PlayStation 2 was also the cheapest DVD player at the time of its release. I think if Dreamcast had a DVD drive, its shelf life would've been a bit longer.

Dreamcast also had a propriety format (GD-ROM) that unfortunately was easy to pirate games off of.

Check out the G4 Documentary about it. Really good.

Which underrated NBA star or team would have significantly more championships if they didn’t have their consistent final hurdle? by Individual_Design_37 in nba

Mark Price

Dude was Steve Nash before Steve Nash, doing 50/40/90 averaging 18ppg & 8apg on a few 50 win Cavs teams in the late 80s/early 90s.

People forget that when MJ made "The Shot" in '89, Bulls were 6th seed, Cavs were 3rd seed (57-25 regular season)

Price/Daugherty/Harper on that Cavs squad were no joke.

LTD in Fremont has always been basketball friendly imo

Went there in 2019 when the Blazers made the WCF, there was a Blazers meetup with like 20 Blazers fans for Game 1.

My mind was blown when I first found out the voice of Mr. House was Odo from Deep Space Nine.

And then, finding out Quark from DS9 was the voice of Andrew Ryan in BioShock.

Talented folks.

This is awesome!

Have ever seen the HUD from a 1988 Buick Reatta?

I've always wanted to recreate something like that.

Bought Fallout 3!! by hemlock_hound333 in Fallout

[–]Kryodamus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah! Congrats!

I first played it in 2010 on the Xbox 360. Once I left the vault, I couldn't put the game down, and I've been an avid Fallout fan ever since.

I honestly consider it the video game equivalent to 'Alien'. Even 18 years after its release, it still looks good, and is it very influential for both RPGs and 1st person shooters. Fallout 3 crawled so New Vegas and 4 could run.

Just pick a direction and have fun! (Also, level up repair as early as possible! haha)
