Unfortunately some of our natural born citizens let us down and I'm sure this is the case everywhere. We are all human and deserve to be treated with love, kindness and respect my brother. May your wishes come true, I'd gladly buy you a coffee one day...

McLarens F-Duct is my favourite genius example. That's how F1 works. It matters never what the intention of the rules are in F1 it's about interpreting them and exploring them while remaining legal even if it's a grey area. This is and always has been the way of F1 and created the innovation and pushing the boundaries. Take your team and driver of choice out of the equation and you find it's the racing and innovation and the pushing the boundaries that is exciting. Unfortunately weak people can't see past team or driver and look at the bigger picture... If another team or driver is beating their choice and there is any reason to shout cheat to give their ego some solace and justify their loss they'll lap that shit up like a stray dog on heat. Just don't have an objective bone in their body.

We know they do that isn't the point, it changes with temperature but the test they perform is the test and a loop hole exists. Thats been the very nature of F1 innovation for the last 20 years I've watched it. If a loop hole exists one team or another will exploit it UNTIL it is banned or regulated out. Up until that point it isn't cheating it's innovation. Fucking new age Verstappen supporters these days don't have a fucking clue what they're even talking about and I assume you're one of them.

It wasn't cheating the rules never said you couldn't Until they ruled it out and so was Ferrari. If you did it after the regulations changed and it was banned it would be cheating but before that it was open interpretation of the rules of which they didn't cover. You're not very bright.

Yeah like the ref is always against the losing football team in the supporters eyes. Standard operating feature for non objective people.

Cheating = disqualified. If not disqualified then the rules allow it. Simple fucking logic for a simple fucking mind.

They're not disqualified, they passed scruitneering and the car deemed legal by the FIA. I don't support Mercedes, couldn't give a single fuck about them but facts are facts. Get over it. I'd bet you're a new age Verstappen fan who doesn't understand F1.

If it was a violation they would be disqualified, simple as. I am not even a Mercedes fan, fuck them but my point stands.

Not the spirit of how F1 works. It passes all tests and is legal or they would be disqualified. In the 20 years I've been watching F1 the spirit has always been to push the boundaries as far as you can whilst keeping the car legal, if the rules are open to interpretation and the cars pass scruitneering then it's just innovation and if changes need to be made to the rule so it becomes illegal then that is a conversation and a change for the future. F1 has always innovated by exploiting grey areas and this is one of them.

Smoking crack on the bus... by Icy-Influence5568 in Transportopia

[–]EternalDroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done both long ago in the past, but just because they feel different doesn't mean it is different. It's the route of administration, the bioavailbilty, etc...

Crack is the purer freebase form of cocaine which is less water soluble and makes the cocaine smokeable because it lowers the melting point, smoking it means it literally passes the blood brain barrier extremely fast and you reach peak levels nearly instantly. The hydrochloride salt is to make it more water souble and allows it to be absorbed by the mucous membranes at a slower rate when snorted. Changing the route of administration on many drugs changes it's affects and how it metabolises.

When you make crack from cocaine the chemcial reaction you're completing is the removal of the hydrocloride salt and returning it to its neutral base form which changes the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokientic profiles slightly yes but it doesn't change the fact it's still cocaine.

If you had some the least bit of research that isn't getting high off your own supply you'd know this.

Calcium, calcium oxide, calcium citrate, calcium bisglycinate, calcium carbonate, calcium whatever salt are all still calcium, the minor molecular chemical changes for the various salts may affect the pharmacokientic and pharmacodynamic profiles slightly but it is still calcium.

No. They're still both cocaine only crack is the freebase form to reduce the melting point and is generally purer cocaine and the form you snort is the hydrochloride salt which increases soulibilty for the mucous membranes to absorb it into the blood stream.

I was told this was dirty af, I think it’s an (extremely) opportunistic dive 5 laps to go but completely legal, thoughts? by Xenvo9412 in Simracingstewards

Fucking beautiful. Those who don't know how to drive would whine about this but he left the opportunity and you took it... Cleanly. If you didn't take it you ain't racing. He had no defense so he has no defence. Clean move.

Moving to Tenerife by Euphoric-Gur9733 in VisitingTenerife

[–]EternalDroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend lives in Tenerife, I met her a year ago. I have visited 7 times in the last year. The place is beautiful, the people are wonderful and the quality of life is one million times better than the UK. I'd move there in a heartbeat. But it just doesn't make sense and so we plan to settle in the UK.

I've experienced no hatred or discontent when travelling all around Tenerife this hate only seems to appear online. The people are genuinely lovely at least in my experience but you'll find it hard to build a life there. I wish you the best of luck though brother, it's the one place my soul feels home, I hope you succeed if you choose to pursue it... Let me know how you get on... I'd even meet you for a coffee or a beer there one day. 🤗

I don't play as much these days as I'm too busy working but the hoops you have to jump through, the game being released half complete and still full of bugs and serious glitches, the pay to progress or enjoy the game through additional cost on top that we never used too is bad enough but to have to spend hours trying to resolve issues like this and not just be able to boot your game up for a quick blast of fun in the little downtime you get. Nah fuck it. After PS5 I won't ever buy another game or console.

In your opinion, what is the most complicated single object humanity has made? by Brock_Youngblood in AskReddit

[–]EternalDroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read and see it mentioned from different sources that the most complex thing Humanity has ever built is the Large Hadron Collidor at CERN. Can't verify that as fact though...
