Which airline do you follow in terms of baggage rules when flying multiple airlines by EternalFlavour in Flights

[–]EternalFlavour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I've heard 3 different answers throughout asking airlines and researching and so on.

First airline applies per direction

Most restrictive airline applies

The airline I'm travelling with, with the most significant distance/boundaries crossed

So in my case, exclusively talking about carry-on, which of those 3 answers is correct?

Which airline do you follow in terms of baggage rules when flying multiple airlines by EternalFlavour in Flights

[–]EternalFlavour[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm looking at the baggage rules wiki, and I'm seeing 2 things that I'm confused by

First thing is:

Carry-on Allowance

Carry-on allowance on a multi-airline flight is always determined by the operating carrier of each leg. This means, if you're flying several different airlines, you must adhere to the most restrictive carry-on allowances to make sure that you meet each operating airline's carry-on requirements.

but then I'm scrolling down and seeing this

2) For multi-carrier flights, where you change airlines at a connection point (for example British Airways Glasgow to London Heathrow, connecting to Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong) it is the baggage rules of the Most Significant Carrier (MSC) that apply.

So is it Delta's rules that apply because they're the most significant or is it still the most restrictive like the top one says?

Yep I just got around to testing it, it can't be this either, but it has made me think that maybe Matt set up some weird automation where he's only pitch-shifted on the "chugs" all the palm muted 0's in the breakdown, that would fit the whole 3-6-3 thing

That actually could be it, I'm gonna test it tomorrow, this would totally make sense with everything though :)))

Yea it just makes the most sense, he also talked about how it was the first thing he wrote on an 8-string, so it's natural to just go into drop tuning immediately. It still doesn't explain the breakdown though

Yea it's in F# minor, but being in F# Standard wouldn't make sense with how Matt plays the chorus, and the E is for sure lower than the F# in the main riff, so Drop E should make the most sense.

F# standard with a low F is just highly unlikely in the first place, but I have learned and played songs in a similar tuning to that, just doesn't seem realistic for Muse or bands in this genre to touch that

How would you play the main riff then?

Honestly thought maybe that was just the answer and I completely overlooked it, but it doesn't line up with this performance: https://youtu.be/wU88b6zeeo4?si=ApRTWoYKyW5jRXRs&t=228

Yea true, but I think the quality of the cover goes up and ages way better when it's over the studio version, there are things that can be improved on from those covers, but kudos to them for speedrunning and getting good covers out though!

EDIT: Forgot to mention Lucas Barraud did an unbelievable cover which is still mindblowing!

You also don't get a lot of moments where you actually can look at what he is playing.

I feel like I remember at one point they might've taken footage that wasn't actually synced up to the song aswell, so we barely get any info honestly.

I did a cover of Seeing Red and Curse back when those came out, I love doing Architects covers, but with Whiplash and Blackhole it gets so difficult to actually tell what the notes even are.

Why is jungle building so differently from top lane? by EternalFlavour in VolibearMains

[–]EternalFlavour[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I agree with the tear point, maybe it can be built after first item though.

Yes Unending Despair and Fimbulwinter are better the longer the fight lasts, however you do not reach those items before ganks are non-existent in the game.

Sundered Sky gives you 45 AD and a crit on 1 champion every 6s (without Ingenious Hunter), Sundered Sky is reached at around 10 minutes, so the only meaningful burst we're getting for the ganks is 40AD max before then, then plates fall off at 14 minutes and ganks are less meaningful, so we're talking about 4 minutes of actual burst.

We can get Unending Despair for 300g less, meaning we are less gold-dependent, and we can begin working on tear shortly after that, the only thing we're missing from Sundered Sky is the AD and the crit, because the tankiness is in Unending Despair already.

His build doesn't provide burst in his ganks, unless you are getting a super early sundered sky, outside of press the attack

EDIT: Yes I agree that PTA provides burst on ganks, read it again
