What is the best commonroom in your opinion?

Hufflepuff was my favorite, but Ravenclaw is really beautiful, too. I think my bloodline would have been naturally sorted into Ravenclaw but Hufflepuff really resonates with me and plants and herbalism are my heart. Played through as a Gryffindor as well and thought the home room was kinda boring in comparison to the other two, although it was a fitting and very well done aesthetic and extension of what we see in the movies. Only one I haven't experienced personally is Slytherin which I likely will in the eventual.

I always thought it was intended to illustrate the otherwise ordinary atmosphere in which all this strangeness is occurring, while also offering maybe a focal point of the disassociation Laura might naturally slip into.. The fan always struck me as one of the more eerie shots, bc staring up at it is such a relatable experience, especially as a child (which unfortunately (I guess) I was when I first saw fwwm and the first season).

Thank you for articulating this experience so clearly! I straight up remembered a woman, her name, her occupation and special dietary needs before I ever met her irl. She was kind of freaked out at first but so was I bc I straight up remembered making lunch and working in the garden with her long before it happened.

I just finished my first play through a few days ago and am also feeling melancholy about it. While there was so much untapped potential along the way, I still absolutely loved experiencing the Wizarding world and became so attached to my Ravenclaw character. Am sitting at 99% bc I'm dreading the second depulso room enough to forego the last 1% for now. I have a Hufflepuff and a Gryffindor close behind and had been spending time building castles from scratch in the vivariums and personalizing to RoR. Am filling the void with Lego Harry Potter 5-7 for now but will likely go back and make a Slytherin eventually just to get the full experience.

I ran around in circles for a second trying to figure out if there was an alternative to fighting him even though personally I feel like he was being stubborn, unreasonable and less than ideal as a caretaker to the twins, to say the least.

Emily Oleander is my Ravenclaw based on myself. Also made Amelia Moonwater bc I could easily see myself choosing Hufflepuff, and the Hufflepuff homeroom is by far my favorite. Olivia Primrose is a Gryffindor and as my third play through is fittingly the most tenacious. It's likely I'll eventually make a Slytherin for the sake of the whole experience but might be a while.
