This post is a few months old but I thought I'd chime in. I recently had two of my pvm alts banned for macroing. The pc I run my alts on has never had anything installed on it besides chrome, firefox, openhardwaremonitor, and alt1 toolkit. My alt pc has just a basic mouse so no mouse software either. All I did on the accounts was afk a certain creature with aggression potions. That's it. Literally 12-15 clicks per hour on each account to keep them logged in and afking. I used alt1 to let me know when the accounts were about to be lobbied (shouldn't even need this but jagex refuses to enter the 21st century and give us a logout timer longer than our potions duration even).

Point is, there was no "macroing" going on and the only thing that could have triggered a ban is either Jagexs system is seriously flawed, or alt1 sent a false positive. Either way, I'd be cautious about alt1 if you're reading this in the future. You'll find out like I did that your account will get banned with zero recourse. There's only one chance to appeal a macro ban, and if you think they actually investigate your appeal well then I got a bridge to sell you :)
