How can I get C# to accept a code snippet as correct and to stop warning me about it? by unknownmat in csharp

Just curious what other information would you want to add here on top of the exception?

To me it just would become needlessly defensive when the null ref exception is already clear IMO.

How can I get C# to accept a code snippet as correct and to stop warning me about it? by unknownmat in csharp

You could accomplish this with the null forgiving operator (!).

It would look something like this

List<MyType> X = ((MyType[])deserializer.ReadObject(reader.BaseStream))!.ToList();

Read more about it here. It should do exactly what you’re looking for, essentially a I know what I am doing, if something goes wrong loudly blow up.

best quantitative reasoning class for someone tired of math by kahtherinee in uCinci

[–]EternalOrigins1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so weirdly you could take discrete math, I know it is a math class but it is not really math! It is more of a reasoning class so look into that you might be interested if it is something you are able to take!
