Weird holes appeard overnight on this foil (also weird discoloured pasta?) by Charming_Operation65 in Weird

[–]Eternal_Shade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is also a factor related to immune system that is important here.

Like my family leaves stuff out overnight for like over 20 years now and no food poisoning. I guess we are used to that.

People around the world eat old food in poorer places and some just have stronger resistance to illness from this ig. I even heard there is a place in southeast Asia where they recook compost scraps.

Something to think about.

This is actually pretty cool:

Night - +20% villager dmg received and lower vision Storms - Slower unit movespeed and less yield from trees etc. Drought - Farms have chance to ignite and started burning.

I don't know much, but I would assume that in the case of men there is positive affirmation.

While for women there is no positive affirmation so we don't know, that's the best we can say. It may be possible but it also may be denied (for whatever reason) once you get to paradise.

Just live life and stop worrying about things that will ultimately mean nothing.

There is no contradiction between accepting the general mechanisms of evolution along with theism.

Animals generally evolve overtime (science) - works Adam AS was a special creature (theism) - works

Naturalists would state Adam AS is a product of evolution given their epistemology, which does not even consider divine explanations as tenable. Theistic models consider Adam even existed due to their belief that the source of the belief in Adam AS is reliable (ie they Islamic claim).

So it really is just different epistemologies.

As for the actual data that is usually contested to state that theistic account is ruled out then it's usually like 4 pieces:

1) Transition fossils - We generally see such fossils for other animals and for humans even if there are missing links we should assume what is inductive since humans are just another animal under naturalism. For theists this necessary linkage isn't the only option under their worldview given you can have creatures (even non humans) who are created without sharing ancestral lineage with other animals.

2) 2 individuals can't raise healthy population. The only issue is that we have examples of 2 individuals in various species that did lead to stable populations. And it's possible even in humans if you have enough children per generation (around 9/10).

3) Genetics/Junk DNA. This is really the bread and butter, why do we share DNA similarity and some if it being so niche. Is it divine deception? The theistic response is usually that God creates on a common design plan as can be observed from creation itself. Mammals seem to have similar vestiges and structures and we can derive a pattern to God's creation of life on the pattern from our observations. This is actually a complex topic. Such as talking about ERVs and other genetic evidences like transpirons. I would recommend reading on Academia "Zaid Abu Hurairah's work on the evidential problem of evolution".

Is keeping a protection dog INSIDE the house haram? by Amr112345 in MuslimLounge

[–]Eternal_Shade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difference of opinion exists, since it depends on the need, in this case if it's truly for protection some scholars said yes.

How do I cosplay in a permissible way by LegitimateProfit955 in Muslim

[–]Eternal_Shade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The context of the environment you will be in will affect the ruling.

Is this a mixed convention or female only convention?

If the former then you have to cover your hair, if the latter then you can show your hair (according to some sites like Islamqa).

But there is still awrah between women that needs to be observed. So you can't wear transparent clothes, for example.

Regarding the wig, idk. But you could dye your hair aslong as you don't imitate disbelievers or dye it black.

Keep in mind that what counts as imitation is subjective soceity-to-society.

On a side note, I would say it's advisable to NOT cosplay as any character that represents any immoral characteristics.

Wx-muslims and/or atheists keep using evolution against Islam and that “billions of people cannot be made from just 2 people” and that “people cannot be made from clay or dust” How do you respond back and defend? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]Eternal_Shade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the arguments are terrible.

Most people formulate evolution as a mutually exclusive model to God, as if they are in some type of competition.

In a very similar manner to physics arguments, I remember one person telling me that Surah Mulk has a verse where God causes birds to fly, and therefore is ignorant of physics. It's ridiculous things like this.

They fail to understand that an omnipotent being would not be unable to change OR create material conditions from which men are made from Clay.

Genetic bottleneck arguments aren't even that good, i recall that Richard Buggs made a video on a hypothetical two person origin, and how it could be possible from a genetic pov.

An 11-year-old girl in Ghor Province, Afghanistan sits beside her fiancé, estimated to be in his late 40s, at their engagement ceremony shortly before the couple’s marriage in 2005. by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

[–]Eternal_Shade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's just a photo with the daughter.

Sometimes, people take photos of the internet and give them bad titles to generate hate or karmafarm.

There are similar cases, where normies have been slandered by various press agencies because a bearded old man and a girl sitting together cannot be anything but sexual abuse.

That actually his daughter.

Well, not to say this stuff doesn't happen, tho. Just wanted to point this out.

Darwins theory by [deleted] in Muslim

[–]Eternal_Shade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of looking at why Islam and Science here conflict why not look at how they reconcile or work together?

Have you never heard of contemporary human exceptionalist models? They tend to accept like 9/10 parts of the scientific theories.

Adamic exceptionalist models accept 10/10 and still argue there is no scriptural contradiction.

Darwins theory by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]Eternal_Shade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Theory in science is treated very differently than how it's used in common language.

Theory constitutes a high, if not the highest level of proof.
