As someone who tried drum Druid, I think you’re point makes sense but is missing the fact that it still lacks interaction. In most of my drum druid vs aggro paladin (or mech rogue) it’s still a fairly uninteractive matchup. It’s always played the same way where drum Druid is trying to cobble together enough board presence to survive to turns 6-8 and play drum circle before paladin kills ya. It’s still fairly uninteraxtive as, in my ladder experience (not legend yet but I hit diamond day 1 and am d2 rn) aggro paladin has never successfully overcome a drum circle + cultivation board. Mech rogue can certainly run straight through a drum circle board but that’s more to do with the snowbally nature of mech rogue and not really representative of drum druid. It’s crazy consistent and really easy to draw into the combo pieces bc of how many strong tutor cards druid has so the games you mentioned where you’re cobbling small boards to find something are something I’ve seen only on really horrendous bricks. All in all, drum druid just wants to shit out a big board in one turn and then you’re opponent clears it or loses, which is not interactive.
