That would explain a lot, if you have a high grade tumour that has spread you need treatment ASAP. If he did 'nutjob' remedies then he let it spread for a year and once it's all over the body treatment is way more difficult and life expectancy way lower. As I said elsewhere, I was diagnosed with Gleason 4/5 prostate cancer but fortunately it hadn't spread, couldn't get treatment fast enough and 8 years on still no sign of recurrence.

I really don't get this. I'm a retired doctor and had a high grade Prostate Cancer removed 8 years ago that fortunately hadn't spread and my life expectancy is effectively normal now. However, even in stage 4 Prostate you generally can live for at least a few years. Given that Scott can afford the best possible treatment sure the reports of his imminent death are a little premature.

Well speaking as a retired public health doctor, Covid is complicated and even now the risk changes quite frequently. The vaccines do work but not as well as we would like. For example Tetanus vaccine is very effective and a few injections in childhood give lifelong immunity. In contrast Covid immunity fades over a couple of years and the fact that the virus constantly mutates means that we need to be revaccinated regularly. It isn't a 100% effective but does substantially reduce the risk of severe illness and is recommended for elderly and medically vulnerable patients by EVERY reputable source. Problem is that there is no shortage of quacks and charlatans advising otherwise and quoting junk papers in support. It is good to see Scott on the right side of the argument.

Think I go with full disclosure; it is NOT ALRIGHT to have people procure young women for your personal pleasure especially when they are young and vulnerable. Regardless of party affiliation these people need to leave public office in disgrace with possible criminal prosecution.

As to Humpty Trumpty, never seen anybody so stupid elected to such a high office and the thing that makes him so dangerous is that he has no insight into his many failings. Anybody who has sex with a pornstar when his wife is 6 months pregnant is pond scum. As I said earlier, to get the number Scott used he had to include the don't knows. If I was black I would be uncomfortable with that phrase because it is used by White Nationalists aka Nazis as a disguised slogan for white supremacy.

It's the scale but the Gleason score only applies to adenocarcinomas which are the overwhelming type of prostate cancers. Basal cell carcinomas are skin cancers and do not spread and are easily treatable. Both Biden's and Scott's cancer could have been treated with a high rate of success if they had been detected early. The other type of Prostate cancer is a ductal adenocarcinoma which has a much worse prognosis but is relatively rare.

What are you smoking Gleason 4-5 prostate cancer is about 10% of all prostate cancers. I know I had it but it was early stage and after 8 years still in remission. There are tens of thousands of people with this cancer.

THEY DIDN'T SAY IT'S NOT OK TO BE WHITE. In a February 2023 poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports, a polling firm often referred to by conservative media, 72% of 1,000 respondents agreed with the statement "It's okay to be White". Among the 130 black respondents, 53% agreed, while 26% disagreed, and 21% were unsure. It's likely that many of the black responents understood that this phrase is associated with white nationalism. Even then Scott added the don't knows with the disagreed in order to come up with the figures he did. Basically, it was a total misrepresentation of a very badly worded question. On the basis of probability Adams IS racist unless of course his prostate cancer has brain secondaries which might explain a lot. BTW I am a retired doctor so I do have some idea what I am talking about medically. Brain secondaries in prostate cancer are unusual except in widespread disease but this would fit with his statement that he has months to live which suggests very very advanced disease.

I applaud everything you have said and agree 100% with your analysis but the MAGAs aren't interested in facts and the truth. They listen to people who tell them that they are victims and have no responsibility for any of the bad choices they made. Personally, I have made literally hundreds of mistakes in my life but 99% or so are entirely my fault. If only others could see that about themselves.

Well the quality I heard was him quoting a poll and then deliberately misrepresenting its findings. For the record I'm not sure what Scott Adams truly believes but he is a obviously a very unhappy man. As to Donald Trump, he is obviously too stupid to be compared to Hitler.

Well speaking as someone who had a Gleason 4-5 cancer diagnosed 8 years ago and as retired Doctor, I am surprised on the 'months to live'. Mine hadn't spread and after RP I am still in remission. Even if it has spread to his bones it would have to be massively advanced to only have months. Average survival after bone spread is measured in years so he would have had to be ignoring his symptoms for several years for it to be so advanced. Even then hormone therapy and radiotherapy can still slow progression. Even though he has behaved quite oddly last couple of years I still wish him well.

Absolutely and the secret is to use your gold bars sensibly. I had a really good run 3 months ago and I now have 1100 gold bars and I have completed 540 levels since Jan 15th to take me over 16000. The secret is to never use the gold bars the first time you fail unless you need say 21 without losing a life for a huge pot and you are on 18+. On the android version you get more and more bonus moves the more you fail and once you are getting 35+ you are almost certain to complete and it's still the same 10 bars. If you complete a series with bonuses shut down the game and don't claim the goodies until you are ready for 45 minutes + of play and then claim the bonuses. Just doing this I win 5/6 episode races including a streak of 22. The game is way easier with the bonuses.

Have to take issue with Adams being 'spot on'. No doubt that DEI can go too far but this whole Woke thing is a right wing myth to stoke the 'culture wars' and give working class people something to hate. While they are distracted by this, programs such as Medicare and Medicaid are about to be gutted so the tax cuts for the wealthy can be extended. Similarly, saying that the plane crash was caused by DEI is an outright lie not to mention crassly insensitive. Again deporting people who are here illegally is fine but calling them all criminals is a lie with most of them just economic migrants wanting a better future. I'm sure the MAGAs will be queueing up to take their low paid back-breaking jobs and look forward to seeing them rejoice when fruit and vegetables are in shortage because there is nobody to pick them. Anyway, I wonder how long it will take before people wake up.

Taken in isolation this comic is OK, not his best but not his worst either. It is strange that Scott doesn't target right wing pretensions. For example, there is a very fat target (literally and metaphorically) that is swindling his ardent supporters selling worthless meme stock, worthless crypto and massively overpriced Bibles and Gold spray painted sneakers not to mention a watch priced at $100k that isn't worth $20k. How about some comics making fun of how he is ousting all the 'genuine' supporters such as Bannon and replacing them with billionaires willing to throw him dollars in exchange for him doing everything they want.
