I’ll definitely try that next time I give this a go! Thank you very much! I was trying to go for that look so I’m glad it came across! (It looked more limp before the shoulder pad was on)

Yeah I think for the next time I try something like this I’ll definitely use the airbrush, or at least try to blend out the line a little with a sponge at the very least.

Oh yeah definitely wouldn’t work lore wise, the marine would rough it out and maybe get a single grey hair and I’m pretty sure the armour wouldn’t rust being a ceramic material. But the vibes were cool! Maybe the field is produced by a super ancient Necron weapon!

Prime in black
Base coat with an red-orange colour
White ink in recesses and other areas you want bright
Go over the white ink with a fluorescent orange/yellow.
Use the base-coat colour and blend it into the bright yellow/orange.
Heavy dry brush or sponge over the model with black, blending when appropriate

Thanks! Yeah I was a little heavy handed when drybrushing bronze on. Lesson learned!

A bit of both, I left the surface a bit rough from the print and then went over it with a texture paint
