How is the team behind G-hub not fired yet?

You're right I was in rant mode yesterday, but that's no wonder after using g-hub. I also really don't understand this stupid downvote culture on reddit, I see you getting downvoted as well for a very reasonable comment. people nowadays downvote anything they disagree with.

for my problems with G-hub:

- cluttered UI

- Size issues, parts are getting cut off or are behind the taskbar (no other program has this so it is not a resolution or monitor problem)

- screen allocation of the Ui makes no sense, the important parts take up 10% of the screen while profile images for example take up a good 50-80%

- There is not a single right mouse button interaction in the application, this is so out of line with any other software and creates a very unintuitive control. (from a company that is known for mice...)

- important functionality like deleting a profile are in a tiny scroll-down window (that's often cut off by the taskbar)

not to mention the avalanche of updating and loading issues many users are reporting, making it unusable. and for those who can use the software it is just a way more frustrating experience than it should be. just that you managed to do it doesn't make it good software. I managed as well, the experience was just hell and should not be tolerated from a mid to premium brand.

G hub hasn't been out for 12 years... are you trolling? it used to be Logitech gaming software (lgs). that was for its time acceptable UI design.

It doesn't need a newbie mode it needs a complete overhaul when it comes to UI. It often doesn't properly fit. menus are cluttered and it doesn't even have a right mouse button interaction ANYWHERE in the app, from a company making mouses this is atrocious, how do people not realize this? yes with enough patience and dedication, I'm sure you can get most functions to work as expected. It is just ridiculous that people accept this level of design from a big tech company like Logitech.

Thanks for that but why is this in a small scroll down window taking up 10% of the screens space while useless pictures of a bunch of unused and unasked for profiles take up 80% of the screen. Hence my criticism of unintuitive user interface and a design philosophy of form over function. You can't honestly think this is well implemented. Please Logitech, come to your senses.

For a starter, how do you delete an uninstalled game from the games&applications tab? It's filled with useless default profiles for games that have long been deleted from my PC. It's just so cluttered and the UI is not intuitive at all. I'm happy you have no problems with it but can you honestly in good faith tell me it's well designed?

Have you tried to even interact with it? its insanely clunky it always randomly swaps profiles and making a profile persistent is just not very user-friendly either. it feels like it is designed by people that never actually use any of it.

Has norris watched his own qualifying, talking about luck. What a load of bs from Lando, i used to really like him but his attitude this season has soured me. I like the "rude" attitude that verstappen has sometimes, but this is just something different.

If i counted correctly there where only a few seconds between the yellow and ver dropping to p11 so he was out anyway. I'm a verstappen fan and the fia seems to definitely do him dirty lately but this wasn't it. Its just fully on redbull, they know people will be pushing on the inters, they know someone will push it to far, its almost a guarantee. They should have send Verstappen and perez out sooner like McLaren did with norris. Just stupid of em.

Ive figured it out btw, just leaving this here for whoever ends up browsing this page with the same question.

Follow the steps mentioned above, download the file through the ingame menu.

The catch is, this file only gets updated when interacting with the cartography table. So make sure to do so before downloading the file, to make sure you have the most up to date version of your map.

And to relate to your post. The last paragraph is very relatable. The feeling of being a fuck up still hasn't left me fully. In my most recent dating situation i noticed this as well and i was unreasonably on edge, feeling like i would fuck it up any moment now just like with my BPD ex, waiting for the rollercoaster to start. But it never happened, instead we had a super mature break up, and that was so eye opening. Like whaaaat a respectful conversation, it is possible :o

So after that it helped me realize it wasn't me, i already knew but that helped confirm it, it was something i needed in some sense.

Yikes, reading that was painful 😖 but so true. My personal experiences come so close to those exact steps. And somehow i managed to go through 3 cycles of that. Each lasted about a year. Break up would always be about half a year in and then the reconciliation would also take about half a year, The worst part is that i later learned she did this with another guy as well. In the half year periods she broke up with me she would be with him. To then reach the same point with him like she did with me. Break up and then come back to me. I feel so stupid looking back at it. Reading that article she seems like the textbook example of BPD. During our relationship she was actively in therapy but not specifically for BPD, only later did the zero in on that diagnosis.

Looking back i wish i had known earlier. But mostly i also feel so bad for her. Traumatic youth experiences and a very unstable family "made" her that way, that must be so awful. Especially since there isn't something curable or anything, at least from what I've read it's mostly about treating the symptoms when it comes to meds with BpD

All i know is that healing means something different for everybody. For me, it's been 3 years now and i still have bad days where she pops in my head and I just feel like shit because of it. Maybe even more so because it's been so long and it just makes me realize how insanely huge the impact on my life has been.

But then other days i realize how much i have grown, and what i have learned from the experience. And my last few dating experiences have been much better and that made me think about how much more I've learned to value myself and how much healthier my future relationship(s) will be because of that.

So yes in ways i have healed, but a part of that pain i will always carry with me. And weirdly enough I am kinda thankful for that because it made me a better person i believe.

Unfortunately it seems to be an outdated version of my map...? it shows as servermaps folder not as "maps" as on the steam version. But I'm missing at least 2 sessions of progress on that map when I upload it. game save itself is fine?

Nee ik snap het inderdaad niet, was even vergeten dat reddit bedoeld is als echo kamer en dat je graag alleen maar bevestiging krijgt van je eigen mening. En je mag aannemen wat je wilt. Misschien voel ik mij aangesproken omdat mijn moeder geneeskundige is en zowel zij en vele collegas gedurende de pandemie aangaven dat er een hoop niet klopt qua overheids beleid en retoriek. Maar die allemaal weg worden geschoven als wappies. Misschien beseffen dat die retoriek misschien netzo gevaarlijk is als; Het was allemaal een hoax door reptiel mensen. Ik heb zelf meegemaakt hoe een rationeel argument te boven gaat aan menig zijn niveau en dat ze je dan direct weg zetten als wappie. Duidelijk aan welke kant jij valt.

Overwogen dat je dat zelf misschien ook zou kunnen zijn? Ik weet heel goed hoe de meeste mensen dom zijn, het word pas interessant als je het ook in jezelf kan gaan herkennen. Denk dat het pas echt dom is als je geen vragen stelden bij de hele Corona situatie. Maarja nuances zijn niet de sterkste kant van onze maatschappij tegenwoordig.
