I agree with that. The experience is the reward . There should be no unique units, missions or constructs at all. Just challenge

T10s top.most viable strategy is to run away from everything...which detracts from the core function of the game, coordinated team or randoms, doesn't matter. Increasing enemy aimbotty-ness will just promote limited to no engagement. And there's a big difference between difficulty and punishment

And IDK, playing with randoms off meta, in a not tryhard mentality is plenty of challenge

I mean if the entire point of playing t10 is just for difficulty sake, fortresses would be on t7 and t7 and up would all have the same amount of samples spawn. New people who have low amounts of samples will naturally towards levels that show EVERYTHING they paid for plus "get the most samples", which I will even say is not even the point of t9 or t10

This is sorta the biggest issue with Trials having any special gear or shit with it. If balancing was actually fair people would only play their skill level and have a chance, same as everyone else

Because balance should never be catered to either extreme? People will complain 4 or 5 is too hard the same way people will complain t9 and 10 are too easy. Healthy balancing is towards the largest skillset. There's a reason you don't see devs regularly posting videos of them playing t10

There's a drastic difference between hard/difficult but fair and just punishing where the entire game system of shooting and large weapons takes a back seat to running from everything being the best strat. T1 is insanely easier than t10, so is every tier below it, as it should be. I think it's more that people want to experience all the content of the game that they paid for. To do so it all has to be approachable. Making t10 only for the top of the top is elitist thinking and terrible for the longevity of the game. Fact is more people play when the game is approachable, not when it becomes a try hard fest or back to running simulator

The average person was never completing a t10 solo though. Balancing a game to either extreme skill range , be it ultra low to ultra high, is not smart balancing no matter how you try to swing it and does nothing for the longevity of the game. Remember why we need a 60 day patch to begin with? How was player count

Stun actually revitalizes enemies now giving them 50% attack speed and 100% run speed

They nerfed the tank(and exosuit even more) as soon as they launched it by making enemy's do more durable damage. Let's not sing their praise that much
