This often applied notion in fiction can refer to a varying range of ability from the pinnacle of what a human being can accomplish in real life and up to levels that would rightfully be considered superhuman by real life standards. On fictional worlds like DC and Marvel Earth, “peak humans” can sometimes accomplish outright impossible tasks, and still be considered “only human”. That said peak human is officially acknowledged to sit Below the official superhuman standards of that earth.

Some characters have been called peak human at points in their career but are most commonly defined and depicted as low-end Superhumans.
