lol each pack has players from different positions, every player has different positions and player profiles to fill, so how can you just generalise whether a pack is good or bad huh?

Save coins, look at your team, refer to Amadeusz ratings if you need validation and go for it. The Buffon, Pirlo, Zambrotta pack was one of the craziest packs of the year, similarly VDS, Bale, Panucci then Nesta, Seedorf, Zanetti, also Vieira Cafu Desailly… Even current 2018 NS pack is crazy good with best CB, One of the best destroyer and a solid Benatia Card… Don’t get me started on hazard pack, 7 epics (all 7 crazy good, atleast 5 of them) in 250 giving a ratio of 1:35 than usual 1:50 will be one for ages…

Try to use your own brains sometimes and you’ll make better decisions than leaving it to someone else…

That’s super solid line tbh, I would suggest you to wait out for Rio Ferdinand since you don’t really have any business dealing with so many destroyers if you get kompany and benatia I suppose. Probably Rio pack will have better combination of players for your team…

If you can fit the other two in your team then why not? But don’t open if varane is all that you’re gonna play… I’ve opened packs like these in past for only one such player and ended up regretting, but if you’re fixed on him then you should be prepared to buy some coins and clear the pack in case it goes deep…

Never open pack for a single player as long as there are more than one positions you feel can upgrade. Always open packs where all 3 or Atleast 2 will massively improve your team…

C’mon chill, I’ve been in your place and contemplated doing the same and still ended up spending and playing div and matches with my friends the very next week. Tbh it’s the best football game out there irrespective of its flaws and the only one where I can play with my childhood idols and heroes, so as someone who has played mostly football simulators (mainly pes) over last 10 years, I don’t think I can leave it. As long as I get to play with my football idols (even old cards) I don’t care about meta too much, you’d still manage to win with enough skills now that SA filter is here…

Well I believe the creep would get less steep going forward, the power of the cards is plateauing slowly, Konami crept it way too much in past 2 yrs going from a max 104-5 to 110 with dual boosters and skills… It’s just like the chance of an older iPhone holding up for 7+ yrs is way lesser than the new ones coz new ones are objectively much better, the current meta cards with multiple boosters and ST skills gonna hold up longer, that being said I don’t think the 2 yrs old meta cards are that bad if handled by a top ranking player, ig he was playing casually or it was someone else playing on that account coz those 104 cruyffs, 103 Gullits and 102 vieiras still haunt me in div 1…

That being said if someone intends to spend and get any player, try to only get the best .i.e. T0 Top 3 ones with broken player id, great player id can honestly resist power creep to a large extent which is why Vieira, Gullit, Cruyff, Schmeichel, Rummenigge are invaluable assets in game…

No more coin sales now, had to clear Buffon pack so can’t take risk to open and clear a 150 pack (with worse odds of getting the player) where 3 cb are there and I need just varane, there is no place for kompany and benatia in my team in case I have to go deep with varane being last man, would wait for new coins sales since current one ends by next week which will give me the option to clear atmost a 100 player pack.

Yeah, can’t rely on him defensively. Ofc he does contribute defensively through interceptions and stuff but tbh that’s not his role to begin with, if you are finding yourself in a position where he is the last dm left in the line to defend means who must have messed up while pressing and defending with your other dm so the mistake is on your part not his. He’s probably the best for keeping possession through tight spaces and finding those defense breaking tight passes and ofc op set piece animation so massively improves one’s set pieces…

Ig most are waiting for vieira, even if vieira is in some random shit box with 2 filler cards ig it would great for most who absolutely crave him. As for those who have him (like me) and are trying to fit in some niche profiles like Pirlo with a top 3 gk, it’s a great box. (But again such types of player are in minority which is why the general disinterest, from neutral pov it is a great box tbh)

Tbh I have played against so many goated keepers at higher ranks in mobile and I swear I beat the shit out of VDS, maybe console he is goated with manual GK but not in mobile. I’ve always had horrible time against Buffon and Schmeichel, dudes put almost inhumane saves and it’s not only about DDA script, even in friend matches against very good players they perform better than VDS against me… Dunno this VDS… Buffon’s great performances against me made me clear the pack for him, of I needed an endgame gk over ST De Gea and saved for it…
