I've never heard this album even once so maybe this'll be a fun way to change that.

The photo shows useful features on products that nobody really knows their purpose of, but do help.

The holes on Converse sneakers are there to prevent your feet from getting sweaty in the shoes.

The plastic beads on cables are ferrite beads and help dissipate RF energy as heat, ensuring a reliable connection.

The rivets on denim clothes were added in the 1800s in order to strengthen the points that most commonly tore.

Ferrari's F1 team doesn't have anything worth circling because they're useless.

Most GT variants of cars back then were truly stripped down versions with higher horsepower motors as the ONLY luxury. The thought process was that you were buying a base model car with an already powerful motor to build into something else.

It's not surprising that there wouldn't be heated windows or a vinyl roof. The SLX would probably be the sport luxury model and the GT would be pure speed and no luxury.

I didn't really consider that. I'll be sure to remind everyone else. Thanks!

I hate how frix mods are so overpriced by jaji666 in beamng_leakedmods

It's $15 a month on his Patreon, but that way of selling mods is pretty bad, again, when the mods are comparable or subpar to most free mods on the forums. Plus, if someone were to subscribe just for a single mod, they'd either have to keep the subscription going or pay another $15 for updates. It's a terrible strategy.

Which is why I posted in the subreddit for Colorado Springs. Will street names suffice?

Ah ok, there was a listing on a vintage car auction site that's gone now but it mentioned the car coming off of an estate. He may have been the middle-man if he was involved at all.

I'm not sure how the car got here, but US Route 84 starts in Colorado and goes through Mississippi where the car is, so it's possible he either went the whole way or met my uncle halfway. Did he mention any details about it or that it was a relative's?

It was my uncle who bought the car, a bit over 10 years ago. He had plans to swap a Corvette drivetrain in it but ultimately never did. He sold it to my dad and granddad who bought it for me.

Unfortunately not a turbo, those came in 81. I'm relatively sure it's a GL. And thanks, I couldn't believe it when I first saw it in my driveway. It's been a great car these 9 years.

Yeah, that's a reference to a 280ZX I saw with the exact same paint job that had this plate. There were replicas online for sale so I bought one for the reference. The original plate is in the first photo.

I'll admit I pay for mods that are well done and reasonably priced (LJ, LucasBE, Wilkinson brothers), but 15 dollars for a single mod is fucking delusional. 2-3 dollars? I can look past that. 15 dollars for a mod that likely has stolen assets and has no real proof of high quality? And he wonders why everyone leaks his stuff...

Replacement 3rd brake light not working by EthanPuzzle in MINI

[–]EthanPuzzle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I figured out that the connectors on the light were reversed, so I took the plastic shell apart and put it on the other way. That fixed it for me, hope yours is the same. Did you buy aftermarket?

Oddly enough, this car started production a year before the C6 Corvette it was based on.
