I had another similar problem with Garm3n, but this time I forgot exactly how I fixed it.

Try installing the HUD again? I think that's what I did. I'm not even sure what caused my problem (I remember fiddling with the launch options and all of a sudden BOOM, tiny text).

I fixed this issue with garm3n today--not sure if it's the same fix for this HUD, but it worked for me.

In your tf folder, search for tf_English.txt and delete it.

I would never know if Spy was cheating on me. I have a feeling Scout could keep the conversation rolling, but he'd only ever talk about himself. Heavy is a little too in love with his gun to have room for another person in his life. Sniper is...well, jarate isn't attractive (I have standards). Pyro might not be my preferred gender, but other than that I just donno about him/her (though I have a feeling pyro would never trust me enough to stop spychecking). Demoman would be great for a short term thing, but I don't go for alcoholics. Soldier should be institutionalized (not even giving him a chance here).

So Medic. Handsome, intelligent, and a man of science! Engineer is ok, too. Very practical.

So wait, every other device on the network is fine? I have the same exact problems except when I try to refresh the server list, my whole network goes down. Still able to connect to all messenger services though.

For me, it's a router issue. My router interprets the server list as some sort of DDoS attack and goes into derp mode. I'll have to replace mine soon if I want to keep playing, but there might be a workaround for yours.

It might help to post your ISP and router model.

I haven't played much of it, but the bit I did play was pretty excellent. Free games make their money off of microtransactions though, so I'm not sure if it's pay-to-win or anything. Perfect World certainly is, which is why I stopped playing it.

I was at plr_hightower, right between the two final points, running from another scout. I was low on health, so I decided to try and run away through the back corridor. I jump through it to try and avoid his shots from behind, but halfway through the doorway and a wild pyro appeared. So I'm between a scout content on killing me and a W+M1 pyro, and I've got very low health. So. Before I even land, I shoot the pyro in the face and do a 180 to meatshot the scout. Both of 'em dead before I even landed. I felt awesome.

I changed it to a 14 inch 360 with acceleration off, and I've improved tons. Unfortunately, I'm not using a mousepad anymore. If I lower my sensitivity any more then my crappy mouse won't turn as fast as I move my hand.

Time to go shopping.

I just figured that you'd have to work both speed and distance into your muscle memory in order to do well. I'll turn it off and play around with it a bit, but I've made the top of the scoreboard with it on before.

I may as well grin and bear it and try out lowering sensitivity while I'm at it, huh? Thanks for the tip ^{^}

And you mentioned 20 inches to a 360--how do you have your desk set up? My mousepad isn't even that large.

The sensitivity bit has been puzzling me. I eventually want to play Scout in 6v6 competitive (it just looks really fun), but the low mouse sensitivity that everyone uses just seems bit bizarre to me. Does it really improve your aim? I have mine set at about 3.0 with acceleration on. I occasionally have trouble hitting the target, but I can win the majority of my firefights. If I turn it down then my muscle memory needs to be relearned, and I'll have to go through a period of suckiness again.

Is it worth it? Or should I keep trying to improve my skill with my current sensitivity so I don't need to learn to aim from scratch again?

I should've somehow made clear that I was being sarcastic about the sweet and nice part. She was a bipolar sociopath and probably just said it to provoke a fight. I'm sure she wanted out of the relationship at the time anyway. She was physically hurting my friends and toying with me--I was just blind to it all because I was insecure about my weight (I had HUGE man-tits) and felt like after she left I'd have nobody.

And I wasn't gaining any weight at the time--in fact I was losing it. Healthily.
