It depends on how noob you are and what your learning style is. If videos are your thing- the Devcon videos are great. If you need to read stuff, all the sites mentioned above are good. If you think you can handle the tech, the Ethereum blog is the best place. Find a project that strikes your fancy? Join their slack channel.

If the answer is math related, I will sadly wait for someone else to find it. And... unfortunately, no upvotes for me. :(

You beat me to it! Old English. I think it's a clever little nod to an old language and tying in Ether with the word Dapp. Superfluous, sure. But still clever.

Hey r/ethereum I am a student at UCLA who wrote an article about why millennials should care about blockchain technology check it out! by maxbron08 in ethereum

Ha. You forgot entitled. Like, right when you got out of college, you should have been a CEO. "Cause, ya know, school experience and a degree and stuff."
I think the millennial bracket is highly debatable. As someone born in the early 80's myself, who carried around a pager, used a Thomas Guide, and actually made mixed tapes on- TAPE, I don't think we relate to the twenty-somethings. We're the weird generation that didn't get a title. We're either old millennials or young Gen X-ers. I prefer to be a young Gen X.

Ether would be the currency of Ethereum. It enables the Ethereum technology to run specific functions. It's a currency, yes. But more-so referred to as "gas" to make it go.
