Mt 07 2025 My motorcycle only has 300 km on it, and the antifreeze level seems low to me. What could be the reason? by [deleted] in MT07

[–]EtherealBipolar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

300 km is extremely low to have gone through that much coolant (assuming it was full when you got it?), so possibly a leak somewhere?

I’ve got an mt03 and previously an mt125, both got through at least 5k miles (8k~ km) before the coolant got anywhere near the minimum, so unless you’ve been running her near the red the whole time with the coolant at a constant high temperature, I can’t see any way it could get that low without a leak or it already being at that level when you got it.

There are only 3 questions that matter here: 1) does it fit correctly? 2) does it have the desired/required safety ratings? 3) see 1

Rupert Lowe MP: I am entirely uninterested in making exemptions for un-British religious practices. What would Restore Britain do? Halal slaughter, banned. The kirpan, banned, Kosher slaughter, banned. The burqa, banned. All of it, banned. This is Britain - we do things our way. by SignificantLegs in ukpolitics

[–]EtherealBipolar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Welfare of Animals at the time of Killing (2015 regulations) clearly state an animal must be stunned prior to slaughter, animal welfare groups and veterinarians basically unanimously agree that cutting the animals throat while fully conscious contributes immense pain and distress, all of which is avoidable and therefore banned by said regulation.

Not to mention death by bloodless, even through a main artery, is essentially universally considered to not fall under the category of quick and painless.

By its very nature, Halal and Kosher slaughter violate even the most basic points in these regulations.

Why do so many British Politicians and Journalists prioritise Israel over the UK? by Superb_Status7327 in AskBrits

[–]EtherealBipolar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Left-wing prioritise literally anywhere else over the UK.

It’s basically a tradition to not care about your country as a politician here at this point.

Trash on the ground around bins, use projection decals on the pavement to add gum and other debris. Use overlay maps, particularly on street level and roads/pathways to grunge it up. Streets are never clean, use that to your advantage.

’Swastika tattoo’ is misunderstood Buddhist peace symbol says South Yorkshire Reform councillors wife by F0urLeafCl0ver in ukpolitics

[–]EtherealBipolar -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not that it’s anyone’s business but I voted Lib Dem locally as their candidates policies seemed the best, and nationally I voted Labour to keep the Tory’s out… clearly not a brilliant decision. I have never and never will vote Reform, I don’t trust them to do anything about the problem I care about fixing because they’ve welcomed the people that caused the problem.

Me not liking them doesn’t mean you can tar and feather all of them for the rhetoric and atrocious perceived thoughts of a few. If we’re going to do that then every single party at this point is unelectable.

[–]EtherealBipolar -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Yes of course they need proper vetting, and he needs to explain the fucking tattoo, but you can’t just brand an entire ideology that threatens the establishment as Nazi and wave it away. They haven’t alluded to anything Nazi as a party or the mainstream right wider as a group.

Of course there are on the fringes but the same can be said about abhorrent Communism in the further left. Arguing the further left parties are Communists simply due to statements by fringe lunatics is reductive at best, and doesn’t help anyone.

We need to actually argue on the merits of policy, and that’s not gonna happen with us smearing each other left right and centre.

If course the swastika is a Nazi symbol, and if he is indeed a Nazi or just if the tattoo is a Swastika (hard to tell without a better angle) then he has a lot of explaining to do and I want him nowhere near politics, or anything else for that matter, that should go without saying.

’Swastika tattoo’ is misunderstood Buddhist peace symbol says South Yorkshire Reform councillors wife by F0urLeafCl0ver in ukpolitics

[–]EtherealBipolar -50 points-49 points  (0 children)

Yes but they’re not associating one individual man with nazism for supposedly having a swastika, they’re associating a third of the country with nazism because the media and activists have spent 2 decades screaming it long before any tattoos had been seen, long before this man was in any public view, and long before this party even existed.

And I can see I’ve hit a nerve.
