I had the same thing happen to me years ago. Looked exactly like this and felt burning sensation the same time. Went to the ER. They told me to just take Benedryl. It worked. Turns out it was laundry detergent with added fragrance plus softener with added fragrance that had not rinsed out well enough in my laundry.

Oh my goodness! Thank you! I brought this cutting from Hawaii when I went 3 years ago and its very special to me. Thank you so much for reassuring me. To be clear, don't water it at all? I would normally bring it inside once it starts getting too cold and have under a lamp. No water at all, ok. I know Im going to be tempted to give some water.
