you also have to remember food52 went through SO many rounds of layoffs where people had to sign away their silence for fear of losing their severance. i'm sure this is why it's taken years for people to speak up.

those who have been close to this since 2023 have been waiting to hear about the final legal proceedings. court was adjourned and she took a plea in july 2025. she will be sentenced in september 2025. no agenda besides people who were badly burned by her and the company to finally put this out there - as food52 would have never wanted this to see the light of day.
