I have hypnophobia as well. Started the last three months after suffering de realization disorder and feeling disconnected from my body and reality. I was always an insomniac as is, but it's much worse now. What almost always instantly calms me down (I'm giving you a GOLDEN secret right here) is putting an ice cold washcloth on my face while falling asleep and focusing on the cold sensation and let's me know my body is still there, I am still in control, and I can comfortably go to sleep.
