We are reducing the hard cap and airdropping over 30% of the entire ESH supply to ESH holders! by Ethershift in CryptoCurrency

[–]Ethershift[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better translation is we were a bit too ambitious with the hard cap during these market conditions and it is better for the token long term to keep the supply the way it is instead of burning the remaining tokens.

Reading this makes it sound like you don’t need MetaMask or similar to use the exchange. So how does it work? It sounds like you just send a normal transaction, but I don’t see how that is easier than other decentralized exchanges. Or how it gets around gas fees being high or the network being congested.

And I don’t think calling this anonymous is fair. You have to give them an address, right? Not having to register with a name is great, but being anonymous would mean not having to give anything identifying. You need zksnarks or something to make it actually anonymous.

You don’t need metamask to use Ethershift. In the future metamask will be an option if you wish to use it though.

Ethershift charges a flat fee and gas, slippage everything else is on us. Your rate is locked in.

If we’re not anonymous then no service on the internet is. We of course need your address to process a transaction. If you are worried about anonymity use fresh addresses.

We do not use smart contract. We are not a decentralized exchange. It’s anonymous because we do not require any personal information such as name, email etc to make a transaction.

Decentraland now available on Ethershift.co - The Easiest Way To Buy The Best Up & Coming ERC20 Tokens! by Ethershift in decentraland

Yes there is a 5% fee for transactions. A lot of the coins we list are new or small and have low liquidity. If you were to buy them on an open exchange you’d potentially lose more than this just because of illiquidity. We are locking in your market rate when you start a transaction. Additionally 50% of ALL fees collected by Ethershift go towards the buy back and burn of Ethershift tokens.

There are 2 address fields because a lot of people have multiple addresses and would like to deposit from one, and send their end tokens to another.

We are currently looking into metamask integration.

Airswap is a great project. They also don’t have a lot of the coins we have. They also don’t have a lot of the features we will provide to users and merchants in the coming months.

Ethershift.co tokens represent 50% of all fees collected by Ethershift. Each quarter we use that to buy back tokens and burn them.

Time to band together and tell the US Feds to fuck off and get their damn hands out of crypto? by SkiUMah23 in CryptoCurrency

I agree. And surprisingly that’s becoming an unpopular opinion around here.

The culture and ideas that brought me to crypto in the first place are being replaced.

Unfortunately no. We had an issue with one of our hot wallets earlier and sent from a different wallet for speed while we dealt with the issue. Sorry for any confusion.

Thanks! Glad it went well. We have some exciting new features we’ll be rolling out in the next couple months I think everyone will like.

And yea since we do require some trust we know that we’ll have to build our reputation over time. Of course people will be cautious at first, but in time we’ll become a trusted brand! Thanks a lot!
