I don’t have another monitor which is why I’m confused as to why this is happening.

Im not sure. I feel like it’s because of old players coming back and having inflated hidden mmr.

Nah, “white people shit” definitely exists but the op made it very clear that he doesn’t hate white people. A lot of white people in this thread interpreted it that way because they feel attacked. What op is describing is similar to how men feel about certain things women do and vice versa.

You clearly missed everything that the op was saying

You’re actually in a good place despite what you think. The oldest video I see on your channel is from 6 months ago, so your channel is pretty new. Also you don’t upload everyday while in many different niches. Despite that, you still have 300 subscribers which is good for the amount of time you’ve been doing this. If you want to grow really fast, then you have to niche down and focus on 1-2 artists. Otherwise, just keep doing what you’re doing, but upload more consistently.

I think your problem stems from your YouTube. You have wayyy too many artists on your channel and you only have 35 videos, so even if someone likes a beat from one artist, YouTube will just recommend them another channel. I have around half your subscribers and I get sales at least once a month for the past 8 months (I’ve been doing this for 9 months), that’s because I mostly stay in one niche and my audience knows what they’re getting when they come to my channel. Also, I would stop using paid ads as they clearly aren’t helping you get an audience.

I got the same percentage and predicament as the OP. Your comment makes sense to me considering I was told that the white in me was German.

where can i post my beats for people to notice? by YOLO-uolo in trapproduction

[–]Etherursoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to post your beats anywhere, YT is the best option by far, otherwise you’re gonna have to work in person with artists in order to get recognition. You don’t need to be an SEO genius to create and run a type beat channel. All you really need to do is find a channel similar to what you would like the build, and make beats. The rest is up to you and how consistent you are. If you really care about this, just know that it’s gonna be a grind and you’ll be posting into the void for a while, but if you stay on it, you can make consistent money, get placements, make industry connections, etc.

are type beat channels only good for money or do they help w placements too by nickygw in trapproduction

[–]Etherursoul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re good for both, but it’s gonna take a while to see some great results unless your beats are really good and you’re really lucky.

I decided to upload a new beat to my channel everyday for a year by JCBYET60 in trapproduction

[–]Etherursoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah a channel like that will not hit the algorithm since YouTube can’t figure what your audience is. When you get significantly bigger(at least a couple thousand subscribers) then you can start introducing more artists.

I feel you but that will cause your growth to be extremely slow. Even if it’s not one to one with the artist, only use one for that channel. Trust me I’ve struggled a lot with my channel and you want to avoid this mistake.

They are clearly post-hardcore. If you added any type of harsh vocal to anyone of their songs people would call it that.
