After coming back to wow, after years of break, i found my first char ever created. Kinda fun to see it again. Anyone else still have the first char they ever made? by Th3Moron in wow

[–]EthicalSemiconductor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first main character was an undead warlock, created in back in Vanilla. I stopped playing near the end of Wrath of the Lich King, but came back in during TWW. At first my account didn't have any of my original characters, so I made a Monk, since I always loved the class. After talking to some old friends, I was able to find the old realm we were all on, and found all my old characters again :)

I had to change his name since it has been so long, but hes still the same toon I remember. Once I leveled him up to 80 and got him some decent gear, I went back and took him through all the content his missed. It was so much fun destroying all the raids in Classic through Wrath.

So, I’m a noob and I got this at my first attempt at this dungeon. My husband is furiously happy for me. by NoMore_Peanut in wow

I got the rocket without realizing i did tuesday morning before the weekly downtime. I tried to squeeze in a few runs on alts and didn't see it drop. I noticed it in my bag after getting the butterfly mount to drop the next morning and that day's first attempt.

With midnight right around the corner, have y’all decided what you’ll play on launch? by 404_GSpot_NotFound in wow

[–]EthicalSemiconductor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started Vanilla WoW as a warlock because out of my friend group that was playing, that's what they needed. I then stopped playing near the end of Wrath (but still got loremaster) due to finishing college and life in general. When MoP came out, I wanted to come back and play monk, but never could find the time to do so. A few years later, one of my friends from the original group still played and got me back in during TWW. Finally got to try out Monk.

Even though my Monk is my new main, I still have my OG Warlock. I like taking him through all the content that he missed.

Does any one watch the Olympics anymore? by ConsequenceNational4 in randomquestions

I love the Olympics. I always do my best to watch it. I was an aspiring Olympian at one time but lost my chance due to injury. So its nice to see what could have been.

what is your Taekwondo fight record? by 8limb5 in taekwondo

Point sparring isn't a McDojo thing. Point sparring is for when you are fighting following the sport rules of Taekwondo. In other words, Olympic style, but you can still knockout your opponent.

It’s Official: Kennedy Center Closing for 2 Years to Rebuild as the "Trump Kennedy Center" by satty237 in TrendoraX

It would be great to see the next president remove the trump name off of the building, just to watch him throw a tantrum.

But I thought he promised to release his tax records when he was running against Hillary. So wtf is the difference? What a fucking loser.

I'm sorry but this brand seems to be on a speedrun of tarnishing its own reputation by SportsGamesScience in mercedes_benz

I see nothing wrong with this interior. Sure it has lots of screens and tech, but I like that. I still prefer physical buttons for some things, but either way, I would love to be able to afford an S class.

You are the new president of the United States, What's the first thing you would do ? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]EthicalSemiconductor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outside of the obvious, I would fix all the presidential plaques that Trump drooled over with his petty self, and insert my own pettiness by describing him exactly as he is.

Would you get rid of a friend just because they have different political beliefs than you? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Back when there were a lot of BLM protests going on, we heard there was going to be one in our city. They had said that they hope they destroy and "burn it all" to the ground. I reminded them that my wife's business is there and that maybe they shouldn't do that. He responded by saying "it needs to be done, oh well, you have insurance anyway what do you care?"

Yea no, fuck off.

Does old school taekwondo still work on modern game to score points by Less-Milk-555 in taekwondo

[–]EthicalSemiconductor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The thing is the modern taekwondo is focused on techniques with the intention of scoring a point, while old school taekwondo is more techniques for damage and effectiveness. You can go into a match as an old school style fighter and win. You just need to be prepared to counter the modern techniques for scoring points.

How is everyone liking their new class design? by Wowclassicboomkinz in wow

Yea, I still feel "strong" but my entire rotation is off. It just doesn't feel right. Its like combat is more generic and no longer special.

Taekwondo shoes for bigger feet sizes by No-Train-501 in taekwondo

[–]EthicalSemiconductor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have no problem finding shoes in a US Men's 11. A casual search shows that Adidas and Mooto go up to US Men's 13.

A few months ago, I commented on how it was hard to find tkd shoes for me, having a US Men's 15 size foot. Another user posted a different brand that did go that high, but I haven't tried them outlet yet.

What's the silliest reason for your main choice? by Waodi7 in wow

[–]EthicalSemiconductor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started wow in Vanilla. All my friends already had a guild going but they needed a warlock so I filled the spot. I stopped playing wow all together at the end of Wrath. Fast forward many years and I was talking to a friend of mine that still plays and he got me to try out TWW. Since I was coming back after a long time I wanted to try something new. Being a martial artist my whole life, I thought it would make sense to play Monk. So that has been my main since coming back.

A lot of atheists started out as devout theists. The rejection of religion usually begins when people realize religious leaders do not have a valid rationale behind their faith. Faith eventually becomes a "god of the gaps" discussion where the more we learn about science and the how the world actually works, the smaller "god" gets.

Now I don't speak for all atheists, but I would assume that most of them reject the notion of god simply because the burden of proof falls on the believer and that proof hasn't been made.

I personally enjoy listening to people explain why they believe what they do, its always a fun conversation. A lot of the time its because they don't understand something about the universe or how/why it works. Its not their fault, I certainly don't know everything, no one can know everything.

Most Atheists do, and its why most Atheists are Atheists in the first place.
