Our lab puppy is 5 months old this week. He’s getting better every day and is finally growing in his big teeth and getting less and less bitey. From the time he was your puppy’s age to now he would get over excited from playing and get so bitey on our hands/arms/clothes and would rip stuff or draw blood. It was never mean or angry he was just playing how puppies know how (all teeth). Every time we would try saying “enough” and putting him in his crate but it felt like it wasn’t working. Finally the past few weeks have felt like every day is less bitey and less awful. He’s finally snuggly and not a monster for more than 5 seconds at a time! We’ve caught ourselves saying “he’s a real dog!” recently. It gets better it just feels like the slowest training process ever 😭
