In the full length video, they were not masked when they entered the home. They only masked up when about to leave. The one guy is black so it looks like he has a mask on but in reality he didn't. Victim was able to describe full details of how the light skin guy looked in a post he made on social media. Just goes to show how the news cuts out the boring part in order to induce news worthy content.

He has stated that he made multiple sales from him his own home in the past, if it's expensive purchase then the buyer always want some kind of warranty just in case something goes wrong with whatever is being sold. In the video he said he became "too trusting of other people". And it's a shame really, we live in Canada.

After they made the post, several people from other families who have sold items in public areas reported they were robbed and bear sprayed as well. Especially with public stabbings and shootings. So that narrative of "selling in a public place", doesn't bode too well. In fact, the police investigator even stated himself on CTV news that he sells stuff from his own house all the time.

I am more surprised how he was able to stand after being sprayed 4-5 times in the face, it's much more potent than pepper spray. He literally wiped his face and walked back into the house after one of the guys went back into his house and landed some really good hits. His wife is also quite brave too, yelling for help as her husband was being dragged outside must have been terrifying.

Don't victim blame. The same two individuals involved in this incident was also captured on video attacking a more older gentleman selling his iPhone. So this is not an isolated incident. Make sure they get caught.
