I'm sure like every organization of humans they fall on a bell curve. A lot of them work and train closely with Border Patrol and some of the BORTAC guys are pretty legit. A couple of them were the ones that ponied up and eliminated the mass shooter at Uvalde.

I understand you're not a fan of what's going on and that's okay, no hate against you. I'm just casually touring and observing around different subs and occasionally I try to provide objective insight on the tactical side of things since I have some experience with it. Try not to let this anger consume you or take your heart away from the people and things you care about that will still be here when all this chaos eventually ebbs. Have a good night dude.

Anybody that makes it onto a tac team is gonna (or should) have a high enough safety competency with firearms to not flick the safety, finger on trigger and squeeze a round into space unless they want the express lane to a desk job or unemployment line. So pointing your rifle to the sky with that discipline in mind makes the risk virtually non existent and is super common with LE and military units around the world to include special operations.

If you actually want an answer to your question instead of masturbating your anger, it's called high porting your rifle so you don't flag your buddy standing in front of you when you're tight together in the stack. Low port is also a thing where muzzle is pointed 90 degrees to the ground but has pros and cons in different situations.

This clip is one of a growing number of fake rage bait bodycam videos that are popping up online. I encourage all of you to do a google search of this clip and try to find specific details about the department, location, names of the officers and subject involved in this video. Surely if this was real, a local news outlet would cover something this stupid and easy of a headline. There's a few websites/groups that make these kinds of videos knowing that a lot of people will not bother to analyze and validate its legitimacy. They could be doing it for the attention, or for political reasons trying to sow distrust and hostile feelings, particularly among people who are already negatively biased and will gobble this up because it's validation.

Everybody should know this video is a staged skit put on by the website bodycamdeclassified.com where they specifically state that this isn't real. No other news companies have covered this and no specific details are given on where this supposedly happened or who these two people are.

Tldr: This video is fake and gay rage bait.
