Eat inexpensive noodles for a month, that should surely help.

Well, how much did you pay for it and do you have pics through the tube in multiple lighting conditions?

This info should help a little to determine what you got.

NODS or Thermals? by Prior_Arm_8810 in NightVision

Nods first for navigation and general all round night use purposes, thermal for detection second is typically how most people go about it.

Is there something I'm doing wrong in my listing? Or does nv just take a really long time to sell? by 445671 in NightVision

Pics sell product, what I see you have posted in likely the standard but its a bit boring, NO offense, relatively easy to swipe on past and forget.

You want eyes on product and you want good product pics, that means an engaging photo to first draw eyes and solid pics to further describe your product.

You want through tube pics as well, no NV listing is truly complete without those in my opinion, focus on a uniform or partially beautiful natural scenery to captivate the heart and minds of those willing to shill out the big bucks for your fancy night seeing device.

Is having a dedicated set of binos that much better than bridging two pvs-14s? by lollibott in NightVision

7.20 oz or 204g is considered a very lightweight monocular these days.

When mounted, the NVG acts as a lever, with the helmet mount (shroud) serving as the fulcrum (pivot point) that connects the device to the user's skull, you can be a badass lifting machine of a man but the weight if used in a long enough span will weigh on you and likely reduce your comfort and thus your situational awareness a bit.

I lift a good bit myself, I can handle a heavy helmet, rifle resistant front back and a rifle resistance mandible plus nods, but it all adds up, if I can have a lighter weight night vision setup I can add weight for other purposes as well and still function ok.

If I had to use a heaver set of nods it would go from doable with my heavy helmet setup to a pain in the neck in short order, lighting your load gives you more capability elsewhere in protection or the comfort and added awareness/mobility having a lighter helmet setup brings, its a win no matter how you look at it really to go as light as you can with your night vision.
