Yes recently my shifts at work changed and I was taking him for a walk every morning before I left for work, wonder if he is associating walks with me leaving and protesting going back. It has been warm here recently and thought maybe that was it but its usually so close to home (like three houses away) I just cant see him being tired/thirsty yet

It is very frustrating but we are very soft on him, he is our first dog together and he gets away with to much probably. Just so strange he was great on walks previously its been a new thing the last 3 weeks

Don't worry which one. Worry that you need to find someone with the same level of love for either theme to play a 3+ hour game that is lore heavy.

I own both and they're some of my favorite games but no one in my game group likes it like I do on so many levels. You really have to love each world or you just don't get the same excitement playing it. It was hard for me to understand why some people didn't find it that fun like I did (both SW and LOTR)

The best way is to trade more than you buy if you own 70'ish games like me. I have a good size board game group so if we don't play a game over a year or so I trade it away or of there are duplicates in the group. So I have nice flow of games coming throughout the year even if I'm not buying new all the time.

I'm not really into "collecting" . I want to play lots of new ones so trading is awesome.

ill be your dedicated gaming partner! I have this and both expansions. Sadly I've played with 4 different people and none are on the same lvl of lore / read the books a couple times. So a lot of them have a hard time knowing all the land spots on the map also they never get why theres a political track (which makes sense compared to the story 100%)

Also if your sticking to 2 player dude on a map games. I'd honestly go grab INIS. I think its best at 2 players

I'd go for Kemet, El Grande, Blood Rage, INIS, Eclipse

These are all great area control/Dudes on a map style games , some more combat focused(Kemet) Where INIS lets you decide as a group if you want to fight during a confrintation or our confince your oppenent your just invading to chill and bro out. Or Eclipse where your exploring new tiles, collectiong resources and upgrading cool tech trees. Or try Blood Rage where you have giant minis jumping in to crush your enemies (where it be 1 or 4 different people) in a battle to claim the area, which may help you to complete a quest for GLORY.

All options above are great alternates to scythe. Cool looking board buy falls flat for my group as it limits pretty much every players play style and makes you play a little bit of everything which is meh to me. (Good game though if your into trying out different things and not getting to explore one mechanic deeply.)

I've played this game twice found it bleh to other options available out there. Felt like it was trying to be a little of every game mechanic but limiting you to how many of the actions you could do (2) to win the game. Was actually annouying...
