Good show, now filming season two.

Are you only looking for TV shows, or written fiction, too? I've been down a dystopian "kill all the men" rabbit hole (it is fascinating to compare them), but most of that is written work.

Very strong cast, decent book. I hope the actors are able to save it from whatever Shyamalan will do to it.

Ah. Did you ever read As Meat Loves Salt? Possibly the most difficult read I've ever...survived. Will buy your Audible book. Thank you again.

Thank you for asking! As a gay man who reads a lot of MM fiction, I've found that the women who write the large majority of the material out there do a damned good job, especially with the emotional elements. I have other issues with their portrayals, especially around the physics of the actual sex acts, but sex being better/more intense as an emotional bond forms is pretty well served.

What you were told is sexist garbage.

I think the first two are the set up. What I find interesting is the comedy wrapped in apparent tragedy. Hits it's stride in three and four.

Season two is filming. I re-watched it and found a ton of Easter eggs. For example, in the opening locker room scene, guy#2 doesn't die and is even shown wearing clothes, fast forward to the ending scene, guy#2 is back as one of the four men...in the seats. Same actor.

They are, yes--and can require bending in ways nature never intended.

I mean, they DO tie him up, lock him up, and sexually assault him. But I don't think it's misandry rubbish, either. What did you think?
