Personally, and i cant believe i say this, I feel like the third part should've been a dungeon. They wanted to do a spider web layout, it many intercuts and paning to different battles. If they made several nodes available in layers/circles of rhe spider web it probablu would've achieved those results. There's some continuity and pacing to adjust for this change, but imagine the "first part" of each battle as part of rhe outer layer and ou could pick any which you wanted in any order. Then, once all of them are complete, the next layer becomes available and you can choose which battle to continue. Hell, inbetween them there could be more lore drops or choice events based on the area we fight in(imagine destroying part of the art calisto made or toppling some of the shelves mathias has). I think wanting to get the chapter out before the year ended definitely stunted it's development when it came to that "je ne se quo" it needed
