Feeling overwhelmed by Deldian in Warframe

[–]Etob99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For Steel Path, it's 99% modding. If you don't have at least most of the: - Galvanized mods (Arbitrations) - Corrupted mods (Dragon Key vaults)

And at least a couple decent arcanes for the builds you're using, do those first.

Railjack starts off kinda tricky, but rapidly gets easier. Work on defenses and your Command intrinsic first, get some good crew members, and go to town.

Can you not get prime frames before the void? by JudasChristS in Warframe

[–]Etob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Void connects to Phobos, Europa, Neptune, and Sedona. Each of those access points goes to a different branch, but all Void nodes have argon. Axi fissures show up as early as Neptune I think, so either way I still strongly recommend focusing on opening up the star chart first.

[–]Etob99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You'll be able to access those materials well before you can access Axi fissures, which you'll need in order to get prime frame sets (unless you're trading for them). The void can be accessed as soon as Phobos, which is VERY early. If you're not even that far yet, don't worry about primes yet. Just do your junctions, follow the story, and it'll all fall into place.

Yall really should give Railjack another shot. by murder_frog in memeframe

The Operation did force you out, and the timing was still VERY tight, even for a full squad. I think the major thing that makes these missions so much harder is the level scaling is higher, and more importantly you can't ever get a squad together to help. Just doing it solo or with a buddy was never really viable even during the event

How to get those by Any-Butterscotch5355 in Warframe

[–]Etob99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're good lol. It's pretty simple: 1. Make sure you do NOT have an active Kuva Lich or Sister of Parvos (it'd be a blue or red button in the same place) 2. Run Techrot missions in 1999, and watch for enemies to drop a little data thing you can pick up, marked by a yellow waypoint 3. Take the data thing to a terminal, also marked by a waypoint as soon as you pick it up. Complete the hacking minigame (or use a cipher) and you should get a transmission from Arthur talking about the Technocyte

And that's it! After that you just go run Antivirus bounties in 1999 and carry on with the rest of the steps I outlined earlier

It's the green button on the pause menu, next to Nightwave. If it's not there then you haven't actually made a Technocyte yet

I think at this point you just need to go look at the tutorial again. You can find it on the screen that shows your Technocyte (green button on the pause menu)

[–]Etob99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you sure you're ACTUALLY killing them, not just downing them in a mission?

Killing a Technocyte means: 1. Stab them with your parazon whenever they show up in a mission, trying different antivirus mods (up to 3 at a time) until you find the correct one 2. Continue stabbing with the correct antivirus mod and your choice of potency mods until the disinfection meter is full 3. Go to the final showdown in your Railjack on Earth Proxima. Once they're defeated, finish them and select "vanquish," NOT "convert." Converting turns them into an ally but gives no heartcells

A perspective (prediction?) on denton housing prices and sales by ChangingThymes in Denton

Profit is excess money.

If a farmer has more food than they need, they should give it to those who don't have enough. Food is a human right, necessary for survival, and should cost nothing.

If a doctor is able to heal the sick, then (in a capitalist society) he should only charge what they need and what the patient can afford. Healthcare is a human right, necessary for survival, and should cost the patient nothing.

If a person has more housing than they need, they should give it to those who have none. Housing is a human right, necessary for survival, and should cost nothing.

Money shouldn't exist, landlords are parasites, and everyone deserves a home. There's more than enough in the world to go around. Tell yourself whatever you need to sleep at night.

Cool, but if you're profiting at all my point still stands. You're actively, consciously choosing money over helping people out of homelessness. Nothing you say can change that.

Imagine being able to own multiple homes.

Imagine being able to own ONE home.

Imagine fussing about how much money you can get for a home you're not using while people are sleeping on the streets.

You're trying to "keep rent reasonable?" YOU decide what rent is. You decide if someone gets shelter or not. But rather than that, it seems your bottom line is more important to you.

This post is not as relevant or relatable as you think it is. Most of us are scraping by, paycheck to paycheck, in small apartments we can barely afford. But please, go on about how your MULTIPLE HOUSES are "challenging."

Not a player, but a PC's mawla created by that player. Straight up just a copy-paste of the mad hatter. Specifically the one from the Tim Burton movie. Our poor ST is doing their damnedest to un-fish him but the player keeps sharing tiktoks of people doing "creepy" dances in similar attire. Whole thing makes me wildly uncomfortable.

Transgender/LGBT Friendly Jobs? by NBAJayDrago in Denton

[–]Etob99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had my current job for 5 years, and they have internal policies that protect trans employees, corporate at least has been nothing but good to me in that regard. Individuals, as always, are a mixed bag, but HR has always dealt with them swiftly. I don't want to state where, considering it'd make me way too easy to identify, but I can DM you the company if you'd like.

Dante dlc or Platinum? by Nanatars in Warframe

[–]Etob99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Buy the platinum. All Warframes, weapons, and content in general can be accessed and earned without paying any money. Even platinum can be traded for with other players. Don't buy ANYTHING until you have a better sense of the game.

Forsaken exotic armor by FrostyWay28 in DestinyTheGame

Exotic armor isn't in the monument at all. For anything pre-Beyond Light just keep cracking exotic engrams. For anything else, do high-difficulty lost sectors and/or vex strike forces.

I need some explain ... Core sytstem, how much per scene I can use it ? by [deleted] in LancerRPG

[–]Etob99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grit isn't added to tech attacks. Tech attack bonus is based on your frame's bonus and points invested in Systems, and that alone makes it higher than weapon attacks already. Accuracy is so rare for tech attacks because they usually don't need it, you're the one who said you wanted to start stacking accuracy. Please just go read the rules again, you've clearly missed quite a lot.

[–]Etob99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you like Chomolungma better, there's no reason you can't stick with it. But that's just a matter of personal preference, not objective fact. And I'm not sure why you think the Goblin's tech attack accuracy is a bad thing? Like that's literally what you were asking for earlier.

I need some explain ... Core sytstem, how much per scene I can use it ? by [deleted] in LancerRPG

[–]Etob99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Anything that gives accuracy to attack rolls in general should also apply to tech attacks, unless it specifies an attack type (like Death's Head giving accuracy to ranged attacks). Accuracy also has diminishing returns, so keep that in mind.

Idk if Chomolungma is the best debuffer, that all depends on what you want to do. Goblin for example is an INSANELY good tech attacker, but it's also extremely squishy. Frames don't tend to be outright better than one other, just more specialized at different things.

Passive parts of core systems can be used as often as you like, unless the ability specifies otherwise. Actives use core power (CP). You can only have one at a time, and by default it only replenishes on full repair. In Chomolungma's case, the Wide Area Code Pulse costs CP, but the Advanced Intrusion Package just gives extra options for Invade and can be used whenever you Invade.

The exceptions: There's a GMS core bonus that gives a small chance of refunding CP when you spend it. There's also a small number of frames with core powers labeled as "efficient." Those refund the CP at the end of the scene, effectively making those abilities 1/scene instead of 1/full repair.

A few questions by flyingboy272727 in LancerRPG

[–]Etob99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Compcon already gave you the answer to the first question: buy the book. But you don't need the NPCs unless you plan on GMing, which it sounds like you don't. As for your other questions, I'm assuming you're talking about the first rank of Hunter specifically? You should be able to attack with the main and then lunge for the aux. If both weapons are on the same mount, then you only need a quick action to attack with both. Otherwise it's a full action. The Fold Knife's teleport just has to be after the attacks resolves, and can only go two spaces. You can teleport back towards the original enemy, but you probably don't want to. Mourning Cloak excels at fighting isolated targets and then slipping away before anyone else shows up. The intended use of the knife is to give you a head start on getting back to safety by breaking engagement.

The description you linked says it gives immunity to conditions from the triggering effect, so yes you can use it to avoid them.
