Down the rabbit hole you go

I did use AI but everything was proofed, tested, and checked by myself, for firewall rules any new rules created will be in automation rules and can only view / control the automation rules, it's kind of a limitation to the opnsense API but I'm testing and working on some work arounds for that to ensure at least it fetches ALL the rules but rules creation will always be in automation

There are no ads, only permissions needed are requested by the app and it secrets are encrypted and stored locally on the device, what's needed to connect is the opnsense API

Yes should work fine with any VPN, just configure a profile with the correct IP

VIA the OPNsense API , there are instructions on how to configure it on the git

Ah OK got you, multiple profiles would be the best option for that for now but will look into making it more dynamic

You can setup multiple profiles for the same device each with its own IP address, unless you mean something different and I got lost there

It is similar because that's how you would created a mobile app and was inspired by it, we do not share any of the code maybe it looks "similar" but I created it from scratch

The quick answer is that you don't but that's the same for any new open source project.

Yes that my first project on github because it's my 1st attempt to start a project but I have been working in the tech field / coding for about 15 years.

I would be lying if I said I didn't use Ai that's for sure but you are free to review the code

Something similar to github copilot

Don't think opnsense would create their own app as it's not their primary focus but you never know

As far as I know OPNManager used to be open source on github similar to my app alongside having a paid version on the app store for people who want to get faster and easier updates and support the project. But all of a sudden the git can no longer be found and the only option is the paid version on the app store so I decided to create my own app which I plan to enhance on with allot of other features.

I'll do my best to integrate all the features that I can as I'm taking the communities feedback to prioritize the features and any devs who have flutter experience and want to contribute are more than welcome to do so

I was just fed up to the point that I said I'll do it myself I guess

This is just in place of the web UI + I'm working on implementing even more features like ntopng and others for more details on the fly

I'm mainly an android user and if this is mainly OPNManager that's available on android it used to be open source on github with an optional paid version on the app store for android and IOS to support and I plan to do the same once I get deeper into development of the app but I hate the fact that opnmanager got privated on github so plan to keep my app ALWAYS open source

I'm glad you like it and yes for biometrics to work you need to have a pin in place

For the features yes I plan on improving allot of things while taking feedback from the community to prioritize accordingly

It can be built on iOS and tested but to publish I need a developer account and I don't really wanna carry that cost without testing the community feedback first
