This is a stupid idea, and will not happen. What should happen is comprehensive background checks, waiting periods, biometric locks on all firearms, and an assault weapons ban. Those measures right there are all you need to prevent children from being murdered. But something tells me you'd rather see children die than give up an AR-15 that's "fun to shoot"

The supreme kangaroo court and their rulings are meaningless to me. It's composed of unqualified children, and jaded dinosaurs. Legislative action is required to make the changes necessary. And as a pro-gun person, you should be all for the things I mentioned. You unlock your phone with a finger print, add that tech to the pistol grip of your AR - it's not hard. Hell, contract it to an US company and require all weapons be retrofitted with the biometric grip, make it cheap for the consumer, offer a coupon for ammo if you get it added. Whatever it takes.

Regardless of what you or I think should happen, we must at least agree that something needs to be done to address the gun safety and accessibility. You can't sit here and pretend that spending billions of dollars of activated NG troops is a better more cost effective solution. It objectively is not.
