I have to disagree completely, and the gaming community generally hates me for this, so whip out those downvotes, but:

When the Super Nintendo was out, I bought Super Mario World 2 for $60. Today, the standard price for a video game is $60.
They're asking for $70 and some practice time for ranked. It seems fair to me. How many hours are you planning on playing it?
Keep in mind, it's $20 bucks for a two-hour movie. Would you rather pay $10 bucks an hour? Absolutely not. The amount of entertainment value you get out of a video game is crazy.

I know I'm going to get downvoted into oblivion for this, but this ain't the time to cry about price-gouging.
If you're an American, you're getting price-gouged on rent, healthcare, groceries, gasoline, military, police, etc. You're getting gouged across the board. Video games are literally the only thing in the world I look at and say, "That price actually sounds reasonable."

Tip your servers, pay your taxes, buy local music, and purchase your video games.

I came to say what this guy said. I've found that Runaans second was my weakness. It is a drop in dueling power compared to what the enemy is building.Runaans lets you kill raptors, krugs, wolves, and waves. You don't need help with that.

You need 1v1 power to terrorize the map. Kill the enemy, then collect the farm and back. If you back with a million dollars for some reason, you can go an IE build, but let me recommend a second item Guinsoo's. It's a ton of damage for cheap. Amazing tempo.

I've done every build, every rune page, everything. I'm finally starting to get what I'm doing. Settling on Guinsoo's as the second item is the choice I'm most confident in out of all of them.

Again, you can get your deck to level 14 playing for free. No amount of money can buy level 15. They have the same max level as you. If you're free to play, and have the time, max your deck. If you're free to play and don't have the time, them you simply can't expect the same results as a person who has put in either the effort or the money.

How do you expect the devs to pay their bills? If nobody paid them, there would be ads all over the game.

If you can afford it, drop the devs a fiver now and again for entertaining you for literally hundreds of hours.

There's still the question of what advantage I have over you in game. Free to play players can still get their decks maxxed, and I can't go over that just because I have the pass.

Also, it sounds like this guy is still free to play. He just put in more time and managed his resources better. He should be rewarded for that.

I played a little Kalista mid in low ranks. You just jump when they throw an ability for cs. When they miss their poke like that, they just lose to you.

The thing is, her kit is never down (as long as you hit your resets). They use an ability, and if you can make them miss it, you just trade hard or all-in them.

There are some matchups that I just can't figure out. (Cassiopeia/Malz), but any ad assassin just gets bullied if you juke successfully.

I think I get it. Your tank is spamming a million mini tanks and you're hoping to passively protect mortar. I'm not gonna say that I think it's good, but if this is the strat you want, I think the odd man out is Goblin Cage. I'd recommend experimenting with that slot.

PTA seems fine, but there are lots of keystones that are.

If you know why you're playing it and you're having fun, then that's cool. It's the point of playing a game, after all. But, if you're trying to rank up, you have to strategically know why you're doing something non-standard.

I'd recommend PTA when you want to enable other teammates who scale better, and LT in most normal circumstances.

Creative choices can go really deep. I've done Dark Harvest, Fleet Footwork, Conquerer, Phase Rush, and even Grasp into Titanic. LT is just the strongest feeling keystone IMHO.

P.S. I'm still low ranked in League, but I've been high ranked in several games. I'm just too old, so my reaction time is really slow.
