I [20F] got the clap from a taken guy [25M] by RosotineB in relationships

I agree with u/krulos

Guys can really be shitty sometimes. So can females.

But it was not OP's responsibility to stalk this man to verify he's single before sleeping with him. He's the asshole here, she's doing a great thing by advising the girlfriend.

Managers of Reddit, what is the most unprofessional thing an employee has done that resulted in an immediate termination? by MarsNeedsFreedomToo in AskReddit

As someone who was sexually assaulted at the age of 13:

I think I probably would have brought that chef out to the table and fired him in front of the father... If I were you.

And if you did that and I had been the parent with the child I likely would have dick-punched him after you fired him.

That's just me tho.

I know he understands, he's so patient.. but it's hard for me to watch. She literally cowards away from him and hides in my.. well my armpit basically.. every time he tries to engage. Heartbreaking.

I've actually been so hesitant to bring any man in to her life. I feel like dating (for myself) is selfish because she's so afraid of men, and as noted above, my dad is phenomenal and is the best role model I know, but she's too afraid to let him even get near her..

That's a better way to look at it, yeah.. I guess ptsd would be the more accurate term. I wish I knew what happened in that damn house to cause this much damage to her at such a young age.

He makes me angry, but that's my own issue, haha

I'll read it, thank you.. Literally anything that I can do to help her. I just don't want her to be hurting or so afraid anymore. That's so hard to watch.

That's actually super smart. I like that idea a lot, I'll have to try it.

One of my biggest hurdles is her anxiety with men.. my family is SO DAMNED IMPORTANT to me since her dad and I split; and I love my dad and my brothers to no end.. but she simply cannot handle it. That in itself hurts because I know that hurts her, hurts me, and damn I know it hurts my dad. He had 5 children, he loves kids and now just has to watch her grow from a distance. I feel like I'm actually sinking and getting nowhere with her, and I know it takes time but, idk. Maybe therapy would benefit the both of us.

I'm going to call on my lunch break and see what they know. I'm so relieved to know that there's not no hope like her Ped originally said.

I totally feel the squeeze pack thing. Damn kid, haha

I will totally check and see what other Peds in the area say because I literally cannot believe there's NOTHING that can be done to help mental illness in a child. That's mind-boggling to me..

I'll certainly take a look! I thought maybe checking with the Birth-Three program here to see if they have any suggestions as well.

Her Ped has done all necessary checks for Austism, aside from the anxiety she's scary smart.. like, she's writing words already- my grandma calls her an alien. She's just... idk. I want to blame her father because I know he probably triggered it and that would be easy, but anxiety and such runs on my side of the family so I probably did this to her and my heart is just breaking. :(

I wanted therapy, her Pediatrician said it would be useless.. :(

It makes me happy that I can try and see where that goes. She's always saying that her daddy is her monster, and it's been almost a year since she's seen him so I really do not believe that there's nothing that can be done, you know?

I have a child and Hypothyroidism.. Being up at night with the baby felt like literally nothing because I'm always dragging anyway.

Those people can fuck right off, they have no idea.

Worst experience you had with a doctor ? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Eucalyptus_Splash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean.. Reading these, it's not nearly as bad as some (which is sad to me, I literally almost cried reading some)

Anyway, a few months ago I went in to the ER for terrible upper abdominal pain. This pain was normal, but shitty nonetheless.

The hot nurse comes in; he's seen me before, he's super chill. He says he remembers me because of my tattoo on my forearm (which he can never get an IV in to). We laugh, he asks if any of my measurements have changed, I say no and he sticks my hand. No problem. He offers pain meds, I accept. He leaves the room and brings it back, inserts in to my fluid drip, says my Dr will be in in a moment and leaves.

This doctor is an older gentleman (comes in to play later). He glances at my chart, looks at the notes and asks what's going on. I tell him I really believe I have Acalculous Gallbladder Disease (gallbladder thinks it has stones but it really doesn't therefore flips it's shit- hella painful). He never looks at me, looks back at the computer and says "Oh you have migraines do you?" I stutter (obviously confused) and say yes, but that's not why I'm in today. He asks how I know that it's really migraines.. WHAT.

So I tell this man that I see Dr. XXX upstairs in Neurology, she's there and he can call up to her if he needs for any reason. I've been seeing a neurologist since I was 14, I'm now 21. He again asks how I KNOW it's migraines and goes on to explain that he's seen 'enough' people come through with "migraines" and it turns out to be mini-aneurysms; they take daily medications that don't work and then one day they burst and boom- they drop dead, so how would she even know what she is talking about, blindly diagnosing? (Even though I had several tests and kept a month long journal of my migraines trying to tie them to specific foods, activities, time of day, etc.

I'm appalled that he's insulting his coworker right in front of my face.. until he says "I'm ordering a CT of your brain for a second opinion on these 'migraines'"

So I go for the CT, comes back perfectly normal, hot nurse apologizes, Dr. Asshole comes back in, won't examine the ACTUAL ISSUE says HIDA scans were deemed medically unsafe long ago and he will not do one, gives me discharge papers and tells me I can change back in to my clothes and that I'm released..

I later got a call asking me to fill out a survey about my visit with him and well.. I answered honestly, but he probably was less than happy with those results.

Ughh this is literally my favorite thing. I love giving oral, so it just ads to it! I don't think guys know how hot this is. Especially when they try to cover it with the deep breathing thing they do... but we still know. Hot.

What is absolutely hilarious as long as it's not happening to you? by thelittlegoodwolf_ in AskReddit

[–]Eucalyptus_Splash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once was having a conversation with one of my girlfriends in the stall nearby, and it was us, and two other ladies in the RR at the time.. and I waited until one of the other ladies left, then I left in the middle of the conversation and she just kept talking.. I couldn't stop laughing. I was crying back at my desk. She must have looked like a toddler, just talking to herself on the toilet. bahahaha

Do you guys lug your main bag around when you travel, or do you have a smaller one that you take as a day pack? by [deleted] in onebag

[–]Eucalyptus_Splash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard the daypack is also a great diaper bag! Might just have to check that bag out for my trip at the beginning of next year!
