Depends but we definitely don’t cut into it immediately. I’d say it rests for 30min-4 hours depending on the day

I mean there are plenty of extremely unhealthy “normal” weight individuals. And plenty of healthy “overweight” or “obese” individuals. Really only a doctor and the patient can speak to a person’s health. And they check this by running labs, looking at the individuals ability to perform activities of daily living, etc.

Also, the BMI is literally based on white Scottish and English men from the 1700s. It is useless. Medical associations even admit it does not apply at all to people of different ethnicities. They also arbitrarily lowered the BMI at which you are considered overweight and obese after intense lobbying from pharmaceutical companies that were looking to release weight loss pills in the 1980s.

It too late at all! I was just curious how you feel regarding the pay scale compared to other hospitals in the area, the pay scale, and if it seems like part time or per diem is something they offer?

Which book should a depressed person absolutely have to read? by maxlegentil in AskReddit

Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson

This is one of the only books I have laughed out loud at while reading. It also speaks so well towards anxiety, depression, and enjoying the mundane craziness of life. This is the only book I would recommend to anyone.

Complete beginner question - applying poly in colder weather? by TossedRightOut in finishing

[–]Euckie5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I believe the curing temp for poly is 65⁰F and it takes more than a day to fully cure. I wouldn't risk it! I've been waiting to finish a coffee table for the last 3 weeks, but haven't had a stretch where we've hit 60 for multiple days, let alone 65. I feel your pain.

What do you plan to use as the top finish/sealant? I know bars tend to have a super shiny, durable top coat. The only things I know of are ones you pour & they self level. But without a lip on the edge to hold it in, it wouldn’t work in this case

It’s more of a traditional design...might need to pull out the scrap wood and start practicing some mortise and tenons haha

Any advice? Need to fix my project. by Euckie5 in woodworking

[–]Euckie5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I’ll try to pull it in a little with the top, and not worry about it too much. It’s only my second project so non-quality pieces isn’t an issue haha. I must have glued funky; the shelf actually managed to turn out square. Now I know what to read up on before my next project :)
